“Very efficient and effective, I was introduced to the tutors that I was looking for and I was easily able to follow the steps to arrange grinds with the tutor that I picked. It's was so easy and I was so pleased with the results that I am now looking for grinds for another subject”

“It wasn't obvious to me that First Tutors is in effect an introduction agency, and that you pay them for the introduction. Thereafter it's up to you to communicate directly with the tutor and First Tutors are no longer involved. The whole process didn't seem that clear to me, but in effect the Tutor allows their details to be released via First Tutors once you have set up your first lesson. We wanted to talk to the Tutors beforehand over the phone, but that's not possible until you've agreed to take them on, as it's only then that you can get their phone number.”

“Quick and reliable service. First Tutors enabled me to find a suitable tutor for my daughter. After confirmation and paying a small fee I got the details of my tutor. I had support from the admin team when I needed assistance.”

“Whilst the process is simple enough it is a little steep having to pay to obtain details of the tutor. Having paid £20 up front plus £25 for the session, the tutor & my daughter were not compatible making it an expensive but unfruitful single session. I feel you should only pay this fee if you continue to use the tutor.”

We believe that we offer an excellent variety of tutors with introduction fees ranging from £4.99 to £24.99 which enables tutees to find a tutor to suit all budgets. “I could see a photo of the tutor and read a profile before I committed to joining FT. I was able to have a conversation with individual tutors which helped me decide on who I chose. I was pleased with the speed of contact and knowing I have the security of FT if I have any problems.”
