“I was charged £7.99 to get a tutor' s email address to find that she couldn't help me. No response to a refund request. Not happy at all.”

“I found the site very easy to use, I found all tutors in my area and made contact. The site if very efficient and I was able to discuss all requirements through the site messenger before deciding to go ahead with the tutor. Very happy”

“I found First Tutors easy to use and an efficient way of getting a tutor. The plus points for me were being able to see a good selection of tutors near me and whether or not they were prepared to travel, plus customer reviews to give confidence in the tutors' abilities and confidence that credentials had been checked. All this seemed worth the fee. I got a tutor for my son within a week. I was happy with the process and after one lesson with the tutor am very pleased with the choice made.”

“Paul seemed like a very nice man and stayed well over the hour. Although my daughter was very tired as she has been unwell he managed to achieve quite a bit in the first lesson and make her smile. Her enjoying the lesson is important to me as I think this will encourage her learning. We look forward to commencing in earnest after our holidays in September and working all together to achieve results. Susan Strouvalis”

“My experience of using First Tutors has been a positive one to date. I haven't actually used any of the tutors as yet because it is the summer and we are waiting until September, so I have paid out for the contact details of 3 tutors, which is quite a large outlay. However, I don't know that I would have found tutors so easily any other way. I am really hoping that the outlay ends up being worthwhile. The tutors have all responded and been very helpful as well. So overall a positive impression of First Tutors.”
