“DO NOT USE THEM - especially as agents on behalf of their subcontracted fitters. They are terrible, and you will have delays in service. Ordered some LVT and there was a 6 week wait for fitting. Called after 4 weeks to check the fitting date was correct, only to be told nothing was booked in on their system. They checked with customer service agent who booked it, and then said everything was still booked for the correct date. Fitter did not turn up on said date (after a 6 week wait), and Floorstore gave conflicting statements saying fitter was ill, fitter was in hospital but had collected the flooring, then fitter had not collected flooring - could not tell which it was. Seems a coincidence. Either way, no fitting date as yet and seems to be dishonest. They will not divulge name of the fitter despite saying your contract is with them. Customer service is slow at responding and calling back, and no apologies were given.”

We’re sorry to hear you’ve been unhappy with your experience Tim, and would like to offer our sincere apologies for your inconvenience. Built over 60 years, we take pride in our reputation for exceptional customer service, and I can assure you that this situation is far from typical for Floorstore customers. By way of explanation, the scheduled fitter was unable to attend on Monday as a result of incredibly sensitive personal circumstances. We hope you appreciate that we were reluctant to pass on his contact information as his circumstances meant it was not possible for him to field work calls. Just three days on we have not yet been able to schedule a suitable replacement, however we are actively working on this and will be back in touch as soon as we are able to confirm a quality fitter for an appropriate time. Whilst fitters’ ability to work is entirely out of our control, our extensive network of reliable and experienced tradesmen means we can almost always avoid any customer disruption. Unfortunately demand for quality fitters is exceptionally high at the moment so it is taking a little longer than usual. As I said above we will continue to be in touch with updates and look forward to your LVT being fitted as soon as is possible.

“I purchased flooring a few months back at the Leeds, Regent Street branch, hard wood flooring and carpets. I spoke with Oniel in the shop, who gave great advice and cost effective options, I had shopped around and this outlet had the best deals. Since then, I have had to delay my fittings a few times due to house purchasing delays, and a quick message to Oniel and he immediately rearranges my fittings without question. He is professional, efficient and goes over and above his duties. I'm out of the country so I'm in contact at random hours, yet he has made himself available and always responds straight away. Fantastic customer customer service, I really appreciate it, thank you :-)”

Simon displayed an unwavering commitment to ensure the quality of our chosen flooring would not be compromised despite issues identified with the condition of the builders screen prior to the installation of our Amticoflooring at our new build home. We remain indebted to Simon for acting with our best interests at heart for refusing to accept assurances provided by the builder regarding the suitability of the sub floor. Working with Simon, the builder and their Customer Relations Team we were able to find an acceptable and cost effective solution to remedy the issues highlighted to us by the Floorstore. “I just bought my first apartment, and before I moved in, I wanted the new flooring throughout. The floorstore team did a fabulous job In finding the both wood and carpet, to suit both my budget and style...it looks amazing! At first I was overwhelmed with the amount of different material they offered , but they were also clear with their advice on what material was best the different areas through the apartment, and I don't think I could have chose better. The team was very communicative during the process, and did a great job having their fitting team finish quickly and on short notice. If you've got an room or a house where you need new flooring, I would strongly recommend The Floorstore.”
