“The product was good, but it's a shame Boroughbox use Yodel who always seem to have rubbish service. Recieved an update from them that the gift was out for delivery, then it went back to the depot, next day no update so contacted the driver who said it wouldn't be delivered that day and when it finally was the following day they left the gift on the recipient's bin and didn't bother to walk down the stairs to the front door - someone was in all day! Did contact Boroughbox who told me Yodel used to have a bad reputation but are better now hmm..”

“The botanical birthday cake was even more beautiful than the image of it. Everyone commented on the taste being exceptional too. Moreover, I was very worried about the timing and so wrote an email to which I received an almost instant response. The whole shopping experience has been second to none! Thank you for such a beautiful and unique product!!!”

“Fantastic service - ordered voucher for all staff on team and found both the voucher / multi-order AND individual delivery excellent. Will definitely use again. Would recommend for anyone looking for individual drinks vouchers or multi-address options (most other websites only allowed inflexible corporate packages but this enabled us to do virtual team drinks across multiple sites at the equivalent price of a drink each). Worth noting in advance delivery charge for NI though.”

“Very disappointed with the slack approach . I specifically requested to deliver an item for a particular occasion , plus it wasn’t a big ask as it states in the site : 2-3 days delivery . It was for my sons bday and it didn’t come . Very very disappointed . Never again”

“Unfortunately, the gift was never delivered. There must be an issue with the delivery partners, as it kept getting scheduled and then they would move the date without notice which was over a week past the original intended delivery date. Additionally, the one time a delivery attempt was made no doorbell was rang and there were multiple people home and there is a business that answers the door as well which stated no doorbell was rang. They did issue a refund but we would have preferred an on-time delivery of the gift.”

“While the product offerings seem great, for the amount of money spent I would expect an on-time delivery. Unfortunately, the gift I ordered was over a week late. I was able to get a refund but it’s unfortunate that their product never made it to its central London destination.”

“I was fortunate to win a gift voucher to shop with Borough Box. My biggest problem was that I was spoilt for choice - there was so much to choose from that I was like the proverbial 'kid in a sweet shop'! My only disappointment was a keg of beer being sent as one of the mystery boxes I chose although my husband was understandably pleased!! Everything else looks great and I'm enjoying trying new things. Best item - dark chocolate with coffee, yummy.”
