Bought my gift on the 13th of December. Says 3-5days delivery and still hasn’t arrived, It is now the 23rd of December. I Cannot see it Turing up before the 25th. Very disappointed as it was a Christmas present. Website says guaranteed delivery before Christmas if ordered before the 17th, I am not very hopeful for anyone who ordered anything after me. Will not be ordering again and will be wanting a refund if not delivered

Cannot comment on the contents taste as hamper was a present but packaging left a lot to be desired, hamper contained packets of crisps which were crammed in on top and resulted in them being more like dust than crisps.

Item missing from order. Although quick to respond to query. Also beer snack box very poor just cardboard box with motive on front. As bought as present had to put in different box. Christmas mini snack box was lovely.

I had to chase my order a few weeks after placing it. I received a response saying it was being looked into and they would get back to me. Didn't hear back then just received the order a few days later without explanation. Wouldn't use the site again.

I received one cheese and then the two others days later with no communication that this would happen. I was then told at checkout that postage was £4 but when I got my receipt I was charged £10 for postage. I emailed the company for an explanation and got no response. Would not order again.

My order didn’t arrive on the day it should have and then it was found to be lost by the courier so got a refund.

Excellent choice and easy to order to multiple addresses as gifts. Unfortunately none of the gift messages were transferred on to the parcels. One of the five people we’d sent gifts to, worked it out and called to say thank you. The other four were awkward texts/calls to check if they’d received their gifts. Wouldn’t use again on that basis which is a shame.

Sorry to have to give this feedback, but was promised an advent calendar by 30 November and just received today! After some to-ing and fro-ing trying to track parcel down! Now this may have been the carriers fault, but I purchased from you so as far as I am concerned, it's up to you to deliver and manage the logistics to meet your customer's expectations.

Product fine, but deliverers left box on doorstep where it remained for 4 days (recipient was away unknown to me). Result was packaging became soggy and unreadable. Luckily house is in quiet spot!

First time of trying this company. Full marks for delivering on the exact date requested but……….one of the key items was missing and replaced with a duplicate of another, cheaper, lesser item. Not impressed. Don’t think I’ll use them again.

Disappointed I had to chase to find out where my order was and turned up too late for the event and had to buy elsewhere - wanted to support local businesses but would have to think about using you again - sorry 😐

I ordered a care package for my friend who was in quarantine to cheer her up. I made sure the gift box contained no alcoholic items as she is a strict Muslim who does not drink or bring alcohol into the home. Unknown to me, Borough Box substituted an item for gin truffles. She messaged me to let me know and what was meant to be a nice gesture turned into a bit of a disaster. I contacted customer services and, although apologetic and said they would make note, they were more obsessed about the fact the item they substituted was 4 times the value of the original. They clearly missed the whole point that the item was not suitable for use - its like sending a vegan person meat or someone with a dairy intolerance cheese. There were some confusing email exchanges thereafter as the customer rep also misunderstood what was in the original order. They did however compensate by sending 1 singular chocolate bar to my friend for next day. This experience has made me hesitant from buying from Borough Box again.

This was my 1st time to use the site. I had messaged by email as soon as i noticed delivery address was MY address, when it should have been to a friend in Gloucester. Nobody replied even to just say sorry. I gad to pay for posting the cake from my house to my friend and so they arrived late. She said were good but due to extra expense to me in the end, & lateness, i am not happy nor would i recommend you.

Received a hamper from my daughter and read up about Borough Box. I decided to order another box because we liked the idea of supporting small companies and we had enjoyed the contents of the first hamper. The hamper had two identical packs of salami, both of which expired within a few days of being shipped. When I advised Borough Box, I was initially offered a £4 refund, being the cost of the salami. I will not be ordering again.
