I ordered 4 cocktail kits from Taste Cocktails, however on receipt one kit had the Tequila missing and unfortunately the main box was wet with one of the Rum bottles empty. I was very disappointed as these were ordered for a friend’s virtual birthday evening. After contacting Boroughbox they put me in contact with Taste Cocktails but after a week I am still waiting for my order to be rectified. Hoping the missing Bianco Tequila and Rum will be received soon.

I was very keen and excited to use Borough Box as part of my Christmas shopping this year. Sadly, my experience was disappointing to say the least. The one item I ordered arrived 15 days later and the second item I ordered arrived almost a month after I ordered it - two weeks late for Christmas!!! Both these items were for the UK mainland, so not on the other side of the world. I'll think twice before using them again

I placed an order Via the M arks and Spencer Web Site on 11th December - which I thought that would ensure a delivery prior to Christmas. The order was delivered to the recipient on 31st December - twenty days later

ordered items off of borough box over Christmas, got cancelled on the day they should have arrived. Left me completely short to order anything else. Also the bottle of wine I ordered to accompany a present did arrive which was completely pointless. Very unhappy.

I ordered a parcel on 7 December in good faith that it would arrive in plenty of time for Christmas. The website did not indicate it would not be delivered on time. The closer it got to Christmas I was concerned that my parcel would not be delivered on time. I tried multiple times to contact Borough Box by email/phone/facebook/instagram and twitter. Perhaps because I advised that I was going to take the lack of response higher I finally heard from the CEO on Xmas Eve my time to enlighten me that my parcel would not be delivered on time. The lack of customer service and goodwill from this company was highly disappointing and I noted I was not the only one having issues. Processes from Boroughbox need to be looked at urgently and an apology to all clients that tried to get in contact should be sent out immediately. A business survives by its excellent customer service and I would say in this case you definitely did not offer any. Very hesitate to recommend or use this company again which is a shame as apparently the parcel I sent was of high standard.

I appreciate the current difficulties caused by covid (and possibly to an extent brexit). However I placed my order as a gift for a friend on the 14th December with the hope it'd get there by XMAS day. The usual shipping target was next day - the order wasn't going anywhere remote - although the general warning did say it may not make it for XMAS due to demand. Fair enough I thought. I got a call yesterday (6th Jan) saying they were just about ready to ship most of my order(?!?) - the rest would turn up next week! Had a call from the gift recipient earlier. Most of my order turned up and he's actually really impressed with the contents. He just wasn't sure why they turned up randomly in January I accept "next day shipping" has issues this year, but this was "next month delivery". Boroughbox might have been swamped, but it seems the shipping for my order started in 2021. Summary - happy with the contents, but far from happy with the shipping.

What was ordered was delivered... but it took a very long time and no response from the company when an inquiry was sent. Also, I ordered a few days before the cut off point for xmas delivery, the product arrived well after xmas.

I am not sure I will use BoroughBox again. Yes they have great products but customer service is poor. This is especially when communicating with them. I contacted them regarding a missing item and never received a reply. Its a real shame.

Understood that due to increased demand that my order was going to be delayed and was notified, unfortunately this was a Christmas gift and so was not received on time. I contacted borough box to change the delivery address to go straight to the recipient as due lockdown and tier changes I wasn’t going to see the recipient. Unfortunately borough box did not respond to my requests and today I have received this. Very frustrating as I now need to pay to forward it on

The ease of ordering and the box itself was lovely, but the communication was terrible. I had an email to say my box had been dispatched but it turned up weeks late, with no tracking information showing all the time I was waiting, and when I emailed the team to enquire I was completely ignored and didn't receive a reply. Whilst I can appreciate things were a little crazy at Christmas for deliveries, and can be understanding of a delay, I am not very understanding as to why my email was ignored.

Order process was simple enough... Delivery time was poor - the item was order well in advance of Christmas but arrived quote a few days AFTER Christmas.

Your website said you would deliver in three days. It took over two weeks and so the occasion I had ordered for came and went. But I know it was because of Covid. If you hadn't asked me for a review I would have just left it.

Very disappointed with the time it took for the order to be delivered, it was intended as a birthday gift for 14th December however didn't arrive until after Christmas. I appreciate we are in a pandemic however turning the phonelines off with no way other than email to contact the company is very poor service indeed. If you are unable to fulfil the orders, the items should not be advertised on the website. Once the item had arrived, the beer cans were damaged. Will not be recommending.

The appeal was that we got to pick a date so the surprise would arrive at our Client's as a little Christmas treat - even a week later, nothing had made it to her and while the products look lovely, the fact that the delivery wasn't punctual defeats the point of ordering this as a surprise for a set date - which is usually the nature of a gift. I understand Covid is a factor, but then there should have been an email flagging this and apologising BEFORE our chosen delivery date, not a day later, after I chased the matter. Not a great experience overall.

Appreciate we are in a pandemic - however I ordered 22 boxes with you and requested a delivery date, which wasn't fulfilled - I would of appreciated someone letting me know so I could manage expectations

Not Happy as the hamper ordered before Christmas and in time for delivery to my elderly parents has still not arrived and no idea of when it will arrive. When the order was placed BoroughBox stated this would be delivered on the 23rd of December.... 2 weeks later and my parents still don't have a hamper... not happy:-(

This order was placed by my company to thank one of our major clients and was due for delivery 15th December. I could not obtain updates, as the phone lines were closed, e-mails were responded by an out of office with "we are very busy". On the 22nd I was told it was despatched. It wasn't, the courier said they had not been given the delivery, so the tracking number was invalid. When I eventually got someone to answer my e-mail, all I asked is that it would be delivered by noon on the 24th, as the client s offices closed then. It wasp put out for anytime and an attempted delivery was made at 15:00. Surprisingly there was no one there to receive it, so was a waste of £200.
