Horrible Customer service...Ordered Frozen Chicken Sandwiches. They shipped out on a Monday. We didn't get them until late Friday evening. 1 Package of dry ice completely defrosted. Sandwiches were spoiled. Multiple messages left on Phone, plus multiple unanswered emails. Will NEVER purchase from this company again.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I placed my order. There are several reviews indicating that foodservicedirect.com is advertising items that they cannot fulfill. I ordered 8 days ago which pales in comparison to many of these reviewers. I’ve had no communication other than the original email indicating my order was processing. This is an item which also indicated it could ship within one day. The website needs to be updated to reflect accurate information. These are times when people are struggling and may not have an excess of money to spend. And if you are going to charge $25 for shipping then the expectation is that you package the products with care and attention and ensure products arrive safely and undamaged. I’ve reached out to customer service and have not heard back. This is unacceptable. Food Service Direct you need to do better!

Poorly packaged food so it arrived with no ice and completely warm and spoiled. I have contacted the company and sent emails and still I have not received an answer or a refund. I will never drop this company again and also I will contact my bank.

I ordered formula 409 refill. It ws shipped but on the way to my place it was found the box is damaged reportedly. UPS sent it back to the company. set emails many times but barely got back. But then finally i got refund. I don't know If the product was fine or not. I am also not sure if customer service is just too busy this time around or not good from the baseline. But I can say customer service is not great. telephone number is only message. Nobody calls back. Email worked, it took long time though.

This company provides false advertisement w/shipping. Did not deliver my products and has not refunded my money. No customer service available. Does not return calls or emails. Buyer beware. Do NOT USE!!

I ordered 6 cases of Beef Cubes, 1 case of frozen potatoes, and 1 case of frozen broccoli. They shipped all the Beef Cubes right away. Many cans were dented, and at least 3 cans (over $66 worth) were too dented to safely use. They did not reply to my message about this, and I gave them five business days. I was going to give them more time. They sent me an email cancelling the frozen potatoes and broccoli and said I would not be charged since they could not fulfill the items. But then they charged me for those vegetables anyway. They never responded about the damaged beef cans. We are due a $180 refund. I have filed a claim with PayPal.

Not happy at all. This company showed multiple products to be in stock and available to ship within 1 day. It showed a warning that there may be a 3-4 day delay due to COVID, understandable. However, this company is listing products that it does not have available, taking money. After charging me, not answering any customer service emails, 10 days later, I'm informed that the ground beef, oats, and elbow macaroni I ordered is not going to be fulfilled due to shortages. So, out of curiosity, I go and see if they are still portraying these items on their website and they sure are. They still have them up. I do not recommend this company and advise people to beware that they are promoting and selling products that aren't available.

They do not respond to customer service emails (at all). They are falsely advertising delay times. The delays are much longer. After 10 days of waiting for items I ordered that they had not issue charging me for and that showed to be available with a 1 Day "ready for shipping" when I placed the order (not "out of stock" as they should have appropriately been labeled), I get notified that they can no longer fulfill the orders. I then check to see if they are still falsely advertising the same products and lo and behold, they sure are. Stay away from this company. They are ripping people off and taking peoples money for products that are not available.

Ordered 8 5lb bags of flour. That is forty pounds of flour they put in a plastic bag together and then in a thin cardboard box. Shipping and"handling" was almost $25.00. The box arrived by UPS torn and taped over. 1 bag of flour was torn 2 more bags were ruptured. I complained to their customer service via email. I have not heard back anything yet. I will update if I am contacted, but based on other reviews I'm not holding my breath. I don't recommend them.

I ordered for the first time. I had a challenge finding rice due do people panic buying. I found this website with a google search thrilled to find rice and flour. After I submitted my order I received a confirmation that it was processing. It took sometime before I received an update that items were shipping. Understandable since they warned that a delay may occur due to COVID/high demand. The delay was to only be 1-2 days to ship. It would be nice if they gave an estimated time on the front end of how long it would be take to fill order. Eventually I received an update with UPS tracking number provided to track shipping. Most items received so far in good condition from the packaging. Yet to open. One concern. I was surprised to find the rolls were not in a sealed bag or frozen. The rolls were in a bag folded over in a box, which was in a larger box holding a large Styrofoam container that at one time held dry ice which dried up by the time I received the rolls. They were supposed to be frozen. They were no longer frozen or cold. Will not order refrigerated or frozen items again. Will order other items again. I'm in Ca and didn't realize this company is on the east coast. I would think that since this is their business they would have the shipping thing down. Giving 3 stars since part of the order was fine and other not so much. Over all I am grateful for their service. If not for the rolls, I would have rated higher.

I wish I checked all of these negative reviews first "BEFORE" ordering!! I decided to place my "VERY FIRST" order with them over 8 days ago, and still have not recieved my item nor have I heard anything about the status of my order! Prices are high, shipping is expensive. No customer support! ......I BASICALLY FEEL THAT THEY STOLE MY MONEY BY INSTANTLY CREDITING MY ACCOUNT BUT NEVER SENT MY ITEMS NOR HAVE I HEARD A WORD SINCE!...........THEY SHOULD BE REPORTED! Buyer Beware. DO NOT USE. False advertising on shipping dates!

Taking advantage of this horrible situation we find ourselves in. They should be ashamed of themselves. Ordered an item 3 weeks ago and was notified that this had been dispatched. After contacting them, I was told the product was arriving shortly and would be dispatched ASAP. I have now been informed it won’t be delivered at all. Don’t like being lied to and should be ashamed they are taking advantage of this bad situation!

I have now received 3 damaged products from Food Service Direct in 2 different orders. A shipment of sugar was so poorly packaged it was all over the UPS truck when the driver picked it up. That package was returned. A second package containing 6 48 ounce jars of strawberry jam was opened to discover 1 of the jars smashed against the others. An earlier shipment of powdered milk had 2 of the 4 packages damaged and opened in the shipping box, the contents all over the container. I called and left a message to customer service over a week ago and I am still waiting for a call back. I realize that this is a challenging time for all of us, but poor service quality and a lack of timely customer service will not help the public or the return business to this company.

I recently posted an unsatisfactory review due to a product that came in poor condition. They refunded my money and sent me an email apologizing for the bad experience. we are all going through trying times right now and I'm certain food supply companies are at a max. The customer service department handled this very fast and in a very professional manner

I have attempted to contact this company several times voicing my concerns about a very expensive fish that has been traveling "frozen" for 5 days I am a professional chef of 25 years and have used this product for many years just not through this company. I never received a call about anything, my fish arrived THAWED!!! 20 PCS of sushi grade tuna thats useless to me!! My order number is 000349068 I ordered this on 3/27/20 order went out on 3/28/20 as did the money from my bank account and it arrived on 4/3/20 end of day. 5 days is way too long for a temperamental fish that is prone to spoilage to be out for delivery without proper measures to be taken. I will see if I get a response I am hoping this company has integrity and I can remove this post we'll see.

Absolutely disgusting company stealing from customers, place an order they will charge you and never send the product, no matter how many times you attempt to make contact or inquire about status they never respond other than to tell you they will respond just never do

Poor communication. SLOOOOWW Shipping. Ordered 3 weeks ago and not one update on status. Emailed them twice, no reply. Prices are high, shipping is expensive. No customer support! Buyer Beware. DO NOT USE. False advertising on shipping dates!
