Overall good service and product selection. My only gripe is your pricing is very high, with shipping costs typically outpricing competition. I would order significantly more if shipping fees were substantially less.

1 order, 2 boxes...one arrived on time and in great shape, second arrived from different location several days later. Carton was crushed and re-taped. Contents were OK but it looked questionable upon arrival. After all that I must say prices are close to not worth having the product.

I wish there were a bigger variety of goods that restaurants and fast food serve. I would like access to unique items at a discount rather than being forced to get them at retail. For example fried pies from certain KFC locations or Cinnabon to be baked at home.

I almost never give 5-star reviews of anything, unless the product and/or service are far better than even my most optimistic expectations. This came very close to getting 5 stars. These days, whole wheat pasta is difficult to find (having been displaced in large part by gluten-free pasta that is of little real value unless one has celiac disease), and whole wheat wide egg noodles especially so. Food Service Direct is one of the few options, and they have better prices than most of the other potential suppliers, and an affordable one-case minimum, with the product in the manufacturer's standard retail packaging. (By contrast, the last time I bought whole wheat egg noodles, via Amazon, they were from a brand I'd never heard of, and I found that I had to break down packages obviously intended for commercial kitchens into reasonably-sized portions, weighing them out into zip-top bags, something I was delighted not to have to repeat with this order.) Ordering was easy, and my card was not billed until the day the product was shipped. (This is how all online merchants are supposed to operate; not all of them actually do operate that way). I was given plenty of advance warning that there would be an unusually long lead-time on my order, before actually committing to it, and it was very easy, even without establishing an account, to check the status. I received at least one email reminding me of the lead time after I placed the order, and when the product shipped, I was promptly notified, and given full tracking data as soon as it was available. Then, on the scheduled day of delivery, when I began to wonder what had become of it, and checked my email, there was a delivery notice in my in-box, and when I opened the door, the product was waiting on my doorstep.

We have ordered several things in the past month just to have things in the freezer and not have to shop for a bit. Love what we have gotten so far...just can't wait til our Sara Lee Pecan coffee cakes are back in stock and shipped!

Service was good on a hard to get item. However, packaging was inadequate. Of the 12 jars(glass) in the case, two of them where broken in transit. Outer box was totally crushed, so I am sure the shipping company was responsible, but overall packaging was clearly not enough.

The foodservice company seems good. The product( cream cheese pretzels) tastes very good. My complaint is that they used to come individually packaged and thus made them easier to put a couple in the fridge to thaw out and not be frozen when I am ready for one..

customer service is good when contacted but I do wish that if an item is delayed or order cancelled, that the website will automatically send you an email to update rather than me having to send an email asking about it.

Package delivered on time. Product was frozen as it should have been. Boxes containing cornbread were damaged however product was not damaged.

Flatbreads were outstanding, hard to find with all that crunchiness & seeds. Wish the packaging was more convenient to open & reclose; & that is showed ingredients & nutritional value.

LaBrea breads are the best ever! Flavor availability is hit or miss though and extremely pricey due to too many middle men. If that was fixed it would be five stars easily. FSD gives excellent service and the faults lie with LaBrea bakery whom I’m not sure wants to be in business.

The delay in shipping caused a little concern for the order but once I knew the actual anticipated shipping date, I was not as worried about the order. As anticipated, the product arrived immediately after the anticipated date. I ordered a month prior to actual (anticipated) shipping date.
