Ordered fresh chile’s in late July. Received them October 15. Chile’s very small and thin fruit. Some to thin to peel after roasting. Sure could tell this was the end of the harvest. Not great quality to say the least. Disappointed.

It was very hard to get them to understand I wanted my order to be shipped together. But got it and it was to late to make my green and red sauce

Ordered fresh chili on September 21st and after multiple attempts to get info on the order found out today that the order won't be processed until the week of October 5th. I'm hoping there won't be any more delays as processing does take some planning. Sorry for the negative response as I do understand that this is a busy time of year for your company. Just wish the communication would have been better.

You don't want my review. I've been holding back because busy and upset but now you asked. I paid about as much in shipping as I did in chilies. It took 8 days to ship? 8? Lost a lot of chilies. Rotten chilies that I hoped washing and roasting nearby would be okay. They arrived the day after I moved. That was fun, 25lbs of fresh chilies I've been waiting years to have the money to splurge on myself then family cooking I wasn't busy enough. I thought I was supposed to get this....With your order, we will ship printed instructions on how to roast them in an oven, charcoal grill, or a gas grill. Nope. Just chilies sitting in the sun at my old house when luckily I went to clean up at 3PM. Huh I can't even rate the stars. Just like I can't enter for the Yeti chili contest. Says much. Upside I like the green chili powder. The other site had that as well. I think this time it worked.

I bought 1 - 25LB medium hot and 1 25LB - Extra Hot green chile They arrived sooner than the status I was given, so that is a plus! My family is from New Mexico and the chili I received I call "tourist" chile, it smelled good in the box and while roasting, but there is no heat in the hot and only a fair amount of heat in the Extra hot. I had two kids peeling with no gloves on, not one painful wipe of eyes, nose or mouth (first time ever doing it). I will think hard next year when you advertise. It might be worth driving down to New Mexico and going with my mom when she buys hers. Not a happy purchaser, Chris Y.

I had preordered green chile and it wasn’t the freshest. I had to throw out a few pods.

They were crisp (fresh?) and unlike the other FCC products I’ve tried, they were unremarkable, mediocre.

If was rating the salsa I would be giving a 5 star rating. It was delicious. But I was torn between a poor or very poor rating because of the poor shipping and poor customer service. The salsa traveled all over the country from NM, TX, Philadelphia PA!, Phoenix and then to my home in northern AZ. When I called customer service, I was met with no concern for my situation trying to obtain my salsa.

I was so excited to get my Red Chili sauce and taste NM. It was very tomato tasting and disappointing. I hope the other products I ordered are better.

Hi Thomas! Our red chile sauces don't contain any tomatoes--they have red chile, garlic, salt, and citric acid (the Abuela's also has onion powder). Adds some heat but little flavor. Was hoping for a quality salsa substitute, but it doesn't work for me in that regard.
