“Red and green blend is a super product however, used half a jar, put it in the fridge. The next week opened it only to find mold in the lid. Lots of products in my fridge but no mold???”

“Ordered 10 lbs of "med" hatch chiles back in June based on the glowing recommendation by Kent Rollins Then, several weeks later we were told that we needed to either up our order or reduce our order. We reluctantly decided to reduce our order down to 8 lbs. Peppers arrived yesterday. We were excited as the peppers looked nice and fresh! I tasted 1 and was immediately dissapointed. Yes, we ordered Medium heat...but, this had ZERO heat and was the blandest hatch chile I have ever tasted. Green bell peppers have better flavor than this. I hoped that roasting would help bring out the flavor. We spent the day roasting and preparing our 8 lbs of peppers for freezing. After investing an entire afternoon, I now have 8 lbs of bland, flavorless and completely lacking ANY heat whatsoever hatch chilis in my freezer. The peppers are so unremarkable that I will probably forget they are in the freezer and will probably end up tossing the entire batch in the trash when I need the freezer space. Initially, it was disappointing to have my order reduced but it turned out as a blessing as the peppers themselves were an even greater dissapointment. Nope...not going to order any more fresh peppers here and will certainly not listen to "Cowboy" Kent, again. Disappointment. Plain and simple. Over 2 months of anticipation for this? Never again.”

“I’ve ordered from you guys for 3 years. Your shipping rates are exorbitant. I ordered 2.5 weeks ago and never got a confirmation. I’ve texted once, and called twice. I’m looking into other companies. Really love your product and wanted to support small business, but $49 shipping and no confirmation email or response from calling has made my mind up. You charged my card, but I’ve got nothing.”

“I ordered Sandia hot chile 8/25 and requested it be shipped after 9/12 due to other obligations. We got the order yesterday, October 7 and it was bell pepper mild. I called and was told I could have a refund or gift card because they were no longer shipping chile for the season. They had to know this chile had no heat before they shipped yet didn’t tell me. This is the second year in a row I’ve not gotten the heat level I ordered. I was so worried I wouldn’t get chile this year that I contacted their CS many times to make sure my order would be filled. I was assured it joke be. When I called about this order being super mild instead of hot, I was told "Green chile isn’t hot. It’s not like Serranos but more like jalapeños. Every year the flavor is different so we don’t know." They didn’t know our family has always eaten green chile. My in-laws are native New Mexicans and we’ve purchased chile from New Mexico for over 30 years ourselves. We know our green chile and what we got was as mild as a bell pepper. We feel just can’t count on The Fresh Chile Company to send the heat level we select. I’m giving 2 stars because we did receive a box of peppers and we were able to donate them to a local needy family.”

“I bought Papa's Hot Salsa, among other items, I opened the jar about a week ago and was going to finish it up last night and it was full of hairy mold...yuk! I should have taken a photo but was disgusted and let the garbage disposal to its job....did not start out good as the order was incorrect to start out with but that was no big deal....”

“I live in the southwest and are quite use to hot and spicy salsas, but when I tried your Red& Green salsa, I could not taste any flavor due to fact the degree of heat. Sorry to say I would not purchase it again”

“The texture the contents all the real deal . I think this salsa clearly is to mild I did add my own heat and a few things to bring out the flavor of all the top ingredients. You should warn people that there is zero heat in this !”

“I ordered the Xtra Hot Green Chili. What I received was not Xtra hot what so ever. Ii would be better classified as mild. Maybe the wrong label was put on the jar I received. Either way, I was very disappointed in what I received. I will try again and hope that I receive a better quality jar of chili next time.”

“I’m waiting on frozen chili’s that I purchased back in September I paid for them I just haven’t received them ! I have been in touch with the company and just keep getting the same response ! Not sure what’s going on but I would really like my peppers as they are delicious 😋”

“The last order I received from you was not as fresh as previous orders. It seems everything I opened went bad after only a week. Even though they were refrigerated and tightly closed. I am single and live alone and can’t afford to throw away food like that.”
