“Securely packaged water kefir grains, arrived in good time. Clear instructions on the website. So far I've made sparkling orange juice and sparkling apple juice. I've got raspberry lemonade on the side for the second fermentation for my next experiment.”

“I purchased the San Fran starter and it didn't disappoint. Really lovely taste, not too acidic that produces lovely loaves. Chad (I've named the levain that) is happily living in the fridge, always ready for sourdough adventures. Service is great from Greatly Fermented - well packed and swift posting. I've recommended your website to many.”

“Fantastic company and great quality products, so much so I have now purchased six cultures from them, all of which have activated promptly without a single issue. All of the cultures arrived within the expected delivery time and were packaged securely with no sign of damage upon receiving them. I downloaded instructions on how to activate the products from the website, which were simple to follow. The customer service is also fantastic, as they answered a number of questions I threw at them and even emailed me on a Sunday evening to let me know when one particular culture I was after came back in stock. I would definitely recommend this company, so much so that I intend to buy one or two more cultures in the coming weeks. Every culture I have received from them thus far has been top notch.”

“This purchase was my first visit to Freshly Fermented. I was looking specifically for buttermilk, to use in my baking. I had been using dried buttermilk powder, which I had purchased online, prior to lockdown. However, that was almost used and other sources of the powder, were totally sold out online. When I found Freshly Fermented, I found exactly what I wanted! We have had absolute success with the starter. It is producing lovely buttermilk, which is used for both baking and in the morning porridge. The taste of the items produced, has been amazing and we are extremely pleased. During my search, I was finding comments from cooks, wanting to know where they could find buttermilk, here in UK. Whilst used regularly in the USA, it is not so easily accessible here. This starter could be the solution for these cooks. We are very happy to support Freshly Fermented's buttermilk starter!”

“I started my experience with Kombucha a few months ago and with much trepidation. Despite the excellent instructions provided by Freshly Fermented I was worried about keeping the correct temperature and convinced I had killed my Kombucha! I contacted Freshly Fermented for advice. Derek called me back promptly. He was very patient, allayed my fears so I am now back on track and enjoying my Kombucha. Would definitely recommend this company Mrs D Herriott”
