“I ordered milk kefir granules. Product came promptly, and like the instructions said, it took about 10 days to get kefir that was not sour and thick. The kefir is so good and tasty, and the granules grow so quickly that I have to throw some away periodically! Many thanks Fermented Foods for this.”

“A few days after ordering my water kefir arrived, wonderfully packaged in an environmentally friendly bio-degradable bag. The kefir is extremely healthy, and immediately started growing. Less than a week after I made my first batch I already have more than double the amount. I'd definitely recommend getting your starter kefir from here!”

“My experience is with the Bulgarian yoghurt starter. This is the first starter I have bought, the delivery time was really quick, the packing was excellent, instructions were thorough. I used UHT Long-life whole milk, brought up to 45C, stirred in the starter and then poured into a 1L thermos flask. I left it to set for 24hrs, I could have shortened that but I wanted it to fit my timetable. I then poured it into a glass jar and chilled it in the fridge. It is delicious, that doesn't do it justice, it's really, really delicious.”

“I've been interested in fermenting, in particular kombucha and kefir, for a while now and I was very pleased when I found this company online. The range of products is great, some of them I'd never heard of before, the website is easy to navigate and it provides with much needed information on the products. “I ordered the San Francisco sourdough starter when I realised that people were price gouging yeast on eBay. I realised that The Alaskan starter might be better for a newbie taste wise. Freshly Fermented were excellent, they changed my order with no hassle and it arrived a couple of days later. I’ve been happily making sourdough bread for a couple of weeks and I would happily use Freshly Fermented again and highly recommend them.”
