“I ordered some San Francisco sourdough starter. It took a little while to come, probably because the whole nation is making sourdough! It was well packaged and the on line instructions were easy to follow. The starter is very active and easy to care for. The resulting sourdough bread is amazing. I can bake a loaf every day and if only I didn’t eat so much of it I probably would. Would definitely recommend trying it.”

“The Kefir beads took approximately two weeks to “work”. I had to be patient ! All is fab now and I have thick Kefir every day. I’m about to divide the granules in half”

“Sourdough starters arrived in perfect little pouches and kept in fridge for a few days. I thought the starter had gone a bit “flat” but as soon as I activated it it bubbled to life ! It has lots of life in it and is fantastic- a real quality product that I am delighted with. I would definitely buy again. Thank you for such a wonderful product.”

“I thought what came through the letter box was a book, I was surprised to find it was my sour dough starter! I was very eager to get going and so far I have made 2 loaves which turned out excellent and tasted marvelous. I have been avoiding wheat for the last 2 months but now am using organic flour with the sour dough and waiting to see what if any effect it has on my health. So far so good. I am pleased to find out that you cant actually do damage to the starter and I have just taken it out of the fridge ready for the next batch to be made tomorrow.”

“As promised on the website my Sourdough starter arrived after approximately 5 working days. The product itself is amazing. I’ve activated my Alaskan Sourdough Starter and it is working really well. Excellent instructions and easy to maintain, as long as you keep to the right ratios and room temperature!”
