“My order was lost I got an email to say a replacement would be sent, when that didn't arrive I complained again, they told me to contact the retailer directly. No response from them. Go on the link for the transaction and the page never loads. This is a crowd of scum, that steals peoples money and get away with it 🤮”
“I bought a CD player for my granddaughter in June. It arrived on time but the volume button was default. After my third email they eventually responded back. They referred me to the middleman who referred me to the retailer who referred me to whoever knows. They required for the CD player to be returned to them. Fair enough, but when I went to the postshop, I was advided that the postage would be $60 - almost the same price as the CD player. I emailed FRUUGO and they sent me UK postal vouchers. As we are in Australia the Postshop didn't accept the vouchers. I emailed FRUUGO once again and they just said to send the CD player back at my own cost as they function from the UK and cannot refund me or send me the correct vouchers to return the CD player. A long story short: I am in possesion of a faulty CD player and that's it! So if you ever consider buying anything from FRUUGO, think twice. It's not worth the risk.”
“Be very careful if you ever decide to use Fruugo. I never will. Although the retailer, Forza Sports, did deliver my order but it was never delivered to my address directly. I had to complain that my order never arrived after their stated 2 weeks deadline only to be told to go and and pick it up from a very far post office. This cost me so much inconvenience and money and time. Other than having to drive there, pay for parking, I then had to pay the post office about one third of the cost of my order for processing fees! The scam here is they tell you your order will be delivered to your address by DHL, but then they cut their costs by delivering to a post office!!!! They didn't even bother to provide my phone number to DHL or the post office so I never even received a call to collect it. This was such a hassle, I will never use Fruugo or buy from Forza Sports ever again. Be aware!!!!”
“I will always trace reviews before ordering online in future. This appalling company is based in Wales I think. I ordered a camp bed 2 months ago and suddenly saw that I was slapped with a shipping charge which doubled the overall cost. I put through an international call to the customer care in Cumbria and got told that my order was with South African customs. that was 3 weeks ago. But still no delivery.I agree with the other reviewers if you are reading this then please do not even consider doing business with this company.”
