Shocking bad after sales, serious attitude to customers problems, you can find most items else - where on line for considerably less, try to avoid paying refunds.

Ordered bed and mattress. Mattress was supposed to have regular springs, it has memory or some kind of sponge springs which makes it not what we wanted at all. We only found this out on delivery. Spoke to customer service and they don’t accept returns as transaction was done in store. Apparently it’s our fault that the pushy sales person did not tell us that this is not what we are looking for. Not sure what to do as have only 3 days before the 2 weeks for returns expire. Seems like there is no law that protects coned customers! Furniture Village I will never buy from you again and do not recommend anyone does too!

Stay away from this fraud company. It’s all roses when they want your money. However, when there’s a problem they send in the cowboys to try to fix it and when they can’t fix it they shy away from their 20 year structural guarantee. Then to even make it worse they only refund you part of the value of the furniture. Then they take the absolute Micky out of paying out, even after collecting the furniture. They should be ashamed of themselves. I will never walk in their store and I recommend future customers please save your money and go to a reputable company. This company just want to loot you.

On 3 February our new 2 seater, and 3 seater recliner settees were delivered. We noted within a day a fault with one of the cushions on the 3 seater (a permanent crease in the fabric). After numerous phone calls to the Cheltenham Store and to Castelan, we were eventually given a date of 2 March for someone to come to us and resolve the problem. The repair man attempted to do this by cutting off a piece of material and steaming the fabric. This seemed to be OK but later that day we noticed that the crease was back. We reported it again and on 22 March someone else came from Castelan and advised us that the material could not be repaired but would have to be replaced and that someone would contact us with a date. We heard nothing for several weeks, so we contacted Castelan yet again and were told that the problem had been resolved. We were told that we could not re-open the case, but that it could only be done by Furniture Village. Got in touch and it was agreed that the case would be re-opened and a repair sorted out – we were initially advised this was scheduled for 6 July. On 15 June, we received an Email advising us that a parcel with parts would be arriving later that day – first we’d heard of it! No information about when it would be fitted, so had to phone Castelan yet again to agree a date of 27 June. When the fitter opened the parcel, he found that there was a noticeable difference between the fabric which originally covered the sofa and the replacement,and that the nap of the fabric was the wrong way round. This was totally unacceptable to us and we asked him to include this with photos in his report. We asked that we should be sent a copy which he agreed would be done and that his report would be copied to Furniture Village by 29 June. We spoke to Furniture Village in Cheltenham on 27 June to update them – we were advised that the manager was unavailable but that someone (Dylan) would ring us in the afternoon of 28 June. As usual throughout this saga, this did not happen! After yet another cal we were advised that we could go into the Cheltenham store and choose a relacement - this we did on 30 June. We were made to feel that all this was somehow our fault and that we were being a nuisance. Not a word of apology or any compensation was offered. We wrote a letter of complaint to Furniture Village on 30 June but never received a reply. On 15 September replacement sofas arrived - I left a review on Trustpilot detailing the problems and amazingly someone got back to me. Their attitude was one of "Well you've got what you wanted so that's all OK" - once again no word of apology or offer of any compensation. All told a highly disappointing experience and one that ensures that I will never ever use Furniture Village again Replacementsofas arrived on 15 September

Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY. DELIVERY DATE KEEPS ON BEING PUSHED BACK. PROMISED DELIVERY IN 8-9 WEEKS AND STILL WAITING FOR NEW DATES. NO CUSTOMER CARE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

RIDICULOUS 😡, Avoid this place specially the person call SALIM, rude and unprofessional, he judge you with your appearance full of attitude like he’s the owner of the store, pathetic service, I ordered sofa almost 2 month now they changed the delivery date 3times now, i had to cancel my work schedule for this, they wasting my time, they promised to deliver within 3 weeks before purchasing, once you place your order they start to take pi** because you cant even cancel after, Everything is overpriced they mislead you with the sale price, DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE, instead go DFS next door or FURNITURE OUTLET Dagenham, I regret ordering from them 👎

Absolutely terrible aftercare. We bought a bed (not in the sale) 7 weeks ago. The bed and mattress was delivered and aired as per the store instructions. 7 weeks later we are still waiting for it to be replaced because the smell is so vile we do not want it in the house. The store will not deal with aftercare, you will have to go through to a central team. When you finally get through to the central aftercare team, they never call you back when they say they will and fob you off with ‘as per policy’. I’m now waiting for an engineer to visit my home and write a report. Only then can a decision be made as to how they propose to resolve my issue. Buyer beware!.

What are disgraceful way to treat a customer ordered a sofa and chair as was told delivery time was up to 16 weeks, we hadn't moved into the property then but didn't want to miss out on the sale price, when we moved in 12 days later discovered that the chair would not fit, rang them 3times before I got someone to deal with it, they charged me £200 to cancel the chair off the order, how can that be right when all they had to do was ring the supplier if it takes that long to be delivered chances are the don't even have the order, BE WARNED I will never use them again

Joke of a company DO NOT USE... RIDICULOUS TRANSACTION FROM DAY ONE... PLY YOU WITH COOKIES AND ACT ALL NICE TO SELL YOU A RUBBISH SERVICE. BROUGHT A SOFA AND BED SPENT A GOOD AMOUNT OF MONEY... TO START THE BED TURNS UP THE WRONG COLOUR AND DAMAGED... AND NOT ASSEMBLED.. AN OTTOMAN BED THAT REQUIRED ASSEMABLY ON DELIVERY LOAT HOURS OF WORK HAVING TO REARRANGED TIME TO GWT THIS SORTED SLEPT ON THE FLOOR FOR 4 NIGHTS WITH NO BED CAUSING A FLAIR UP TO MY SCIATICA. THEN NEXT CAME THE DAMAGED SOFA! ONCE AGAIN NICE STAFF THAT GIVE OUT THIER PERSONAL NUMBER AND OFFER HELP ANY TIME.. SOON CHANGE THIER ATTITUDE WHEN SOMETHING IS WRONG... RUDE AND BLUNT AND NOT HELPFUL AT ALL.. WE WERE TOLD A TIME SLOT FOR WHICH WE HAD ARRANGED WORK AND MOVED EVERYTHING TO FIT AROUND THEN THEY TURN UP EARLY BUY OVER AN HOUR AND HALF AND GET TOLD IF WE ARE NOT THERE THEN THEY WOULD LEAVE AND WOULD HAVE TO MOVE ANOTHER DATE... EVEN THE DELIVERY DRIVERS TOLD US THAT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM HAVE NO ODEA EHAT THEY ARE DOING... THEN ONCE AGAIN MORE RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM MEMBERS TELLING US TO LIST EVERYING IN AN EMAIL THEN MOCKING US BY JOKING ABOUT OUR "DETAILED EMAIL" WAS TOLD NO COMPENSATION WAS GIVEN AND AS A GOOD WILL GESTEURE WE WOULD BE GIVEN £100 NOW TOLD WE CANT HAVE THE £100 OT WOULD BE TAKEN OFF OUR AGREEMENT BUT PREVIOUSLY TOLD THEY CANT TAKE ANYTHING OFF THE AGREEMENT. RUDE AND UNHELPFUL CAUSE US SUCH STRESS AND NOW ARE BEING SO UNSUPPORTIVE BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOW COMPLETED THIER END OF THINGS. Rude customer service advisor called ROXANNA. Basically called me a liar and said I told the delivery people they didn't need to assemble a 60kg table! My partner is disabled and not able to use his hands (he was at work at the time) I assumed when they delivered and left that it wasnt part of the company. Turns out my partner said he had paid for it to be put together. I had already put together benches and stools however me and my son couldnt even put the table top out of the way, let alone lay it on floor, attached the stand and flip it over. I recieed a call from ROXANNA basically telling me it was MY FAULT. She would do an exception as they didnt have to come and resolve the problem and we would now have to wait another week. We have already waited 13 weeks the problem is we have a dinner party tomorrow which was planned to host weeks ago as our kitchen was being done up. I was not happy to be called a liar, she was shouty on the phone to be and basiucally just RUDE!

There should be an option to add a negative review They are absolutely ridiculous in terms of a fault or after service I had to wait 3 months for a dinning chair They were neither apologetic nor did they provide a reasonable compensation They only gave 79 pound for a wait of 3 months and for 6 defective chairs Please don’t opt for them

After care wa shocking i paid £8,000 for the three piece settee 1 year ago and the all te padding as gone flat an they wont do anything about it the gentele man was so stubbern its timto take them to court

Good at taking your money but after that it’s a nightmare they don’t answer the phones you have to keep going into the store after spending several thousands of pounds and getting sub standard products which they then blame us the customers for would never use them again or recommend them to anyone service is non existent avoid like the plague.

Bought Bed April 2019 for £2,554. In April 2022 it was repaired by Furniture Village. A year later it had fallen apart, and I had to put an old dining table on the divan to get the bed horizontal. Customer Services took many phone calls/emails and offered me a repair or £300, then £780. Furniture Village fought to get away with as little as possible and I had to get the Furniture Ombudsman involved who said I should get £1893 which they had to pay. Furniture Village are quick to make you a coffee and take your money, but their guarantees and customer service are worthless. Avoid avoid avoid!

They have delivered a partially damaged chest of drawers. Very expensive one. We've been on the phone with them about 10 times, getting frustrated. 3 months later they delivered the wrong replacement. I am done asking. Since I am a marketer, I am going to build a landing page with an attractive lead magnet and pay for the traffic. I will create a great Anti-Furniture Village Campaign, find all unhappy customers and invite them to leave negative video reviews. Let's see how Furniture Village likes it when people fight back!
