Ordered a 3+2 seater sofa and they made sure I paid in full promptly. Come delivery date, the guys couldnt get the 3 seater into my house, so took them back. When I called, they said the fault was mine as I should have checked the sizes would fit in through my door. Anyway, agree to pay for their sofa technician to remove segments of the 3 seater to fit it in. Second time delivery, they forget to bring in one of the parts needed to re-assemble. They also said the 2 seater couldnt go in, and they wouldn't take it back. As it had been attempted to get into my property, the sofa couldn't be sanitised to take back. So they left the 2 seater on my drive! Third time in, they deliver the missing part and the technician manages to assemble the 3 seater. Thought the reduced the price for the technician's services, the service was appalling.

DO NOT ACCEPT A SOFA IF YOU FIND MARKS OR DAMAGE! Sofa was not checked prior to delivery and was damaged. I then accepted the sofa after being told it was glue. Had to wait for a repair agent to come out and it’s a half day appointment so half day holiday booked. Repair agent had a go but not great. Repair agent also wanted to know how the sofa was positioned in my property!?! Rung the store and was told I now have to wait for them to pick up the report despite me emailing the reviews team with photos. At this point I wish I never dealt with this company

Avoid avoid avoid ..... Avoid avoid avoid ...... if you like customer service this isn’t the company for you !!!! As they Seem to have no regard for their customers once they have taken your deposit ! After almost 6 months of waiting for our order to arrive we were told the night before delivery that they “couldn’t find” our mattress ! Two weeks later several emails several calls and a couple of virtual chats via the website nothing has been done and no contact has been made to us to explain, apologies or update on this saga!!!

Zero acknowledgment of issues fall back on independent engineer inspection, not independent at all. How can an inspection take place without design specifications for reference no measurements or reference guides. Purely an opinion not a professional evaluation! Seeking legal advice over £5,500 furniture after 4 weeks looks 10 years old. Also not designed correctly for static version of recliner zero back support Do not buy anything from this Mickey Mouse company. We have ordered three times and waited over 3 months for each item. Awful customer service. Treated with contempt by customer services! GPlan should be wary of loosing their reputation by being associated with this company.

As with everyone else DO NOT BUY from this company. I cannot express enough how shoddy the quality is. After six months sofas looked ten years old. We sit on them for three hours a day and plump daily. One and a half years in and they look ridiculous. They are out of shape, uncomfortable and furniture village assured us on purchase the foam was high density quality so we would have no sagging. LIES! Take a look at the pictures. I have repeatedly tried to raise with them, for a response now of basically pay for more inners. Yep less than two years old and they want me to pay for more stuffing....

Would give no stars if I could. Furniture Village’s customer service is appalling. I purchased an expensive piece of furniture from them last July and after a wait of 3 months, they delivered a completely different item to the one I ordered (wrong model, wrong colour). They failed to contact me at all about this problem - I had to call them to find out what was happening. When I did call, I was told “it is a problem with the suppliers” and not given any date by which the error would be rectified. When I called again to ask for a timetable for correcting the error, I was treated as if I was nuisance rather than a customer whose purchase had not been fulfilled. After a wait of a further 3 months, and many phone calls, they eventually delivered the correct item. During that entire period, they had all of my money and I had no proof there was a problem! To this date, I have not received anything from them in writing (not even an email). No apology, nothing! I raised a formal complaint about this and posted it to them in January of this year. I know it arrived, because I had my letter tracked. After 6 weeks I haven’t received any written acknowledgement of my complaint. Avoid this company at all cost – you have been warned.

Complained about the lack of support on my Rosie sofa cushions. They said they would get back to me, but never did. Absolutely pathetic

Has anyone from this company actually read the reviews??? It beggars belief that this bunch of crooks are still trading - although I doubt you know what the words means, but especially in the current situation you should be ashamed of yourselves. I and obviously many like me truly hope you go bust

We moved into our new home. We have a lovely separate dining room so myself & my wife spoilt ourselves & paid "£5,500.00" for our new table, chairs & matching side board! It looked lovely in the front window of the Bristol branch. However, I can't over emphasise enough how cheap the quality & construction of this furniture is!!!!! We had the furniture delivered & the 6 chairs & 2 carver chairs had black grease marks all over them (we had to have them professionally cleaned) all the legs of the table were loose to the point where the table was close to collapsing! The legs & backs of all 8 chairs were also loose! We managed to get everything sorted ourselves & thought that would be the end of the issues.....unfortunately not the case! The finish to the table has now started peeling in several areas & the oak has blown on the side board doors! Going against my better judgement we took out the extra "Guardsman" insurance from Furniture Village (thought this was a good idea at the time due to the cost of the furniture). How wrong were we?????..... THIS INSURANCE IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON!!!!! Go & look for youraelves & read the "Guardsman" reviews online! They are an absolutely disgusting & shocking company! They take your money & have millions in the bank. SEE FOR YOURSELVES! Take a look at their online accounts that are available for all to view.....but they use any means possible to worm themselves out of any claims! Please Please Please don't purchase from Furniture Village! This was supposed to be a "once in our lifetime" purchase but we have just been left devastated! We are "£5,500.00" out of pocket & have nothing to show for it apart from a tatty looking dining room! Absolutely Gutted!!!!!

Shocking service. Received a Damaged sofa, wrong cushions sent out three times ... repair man made a complete mess of the sofa, then we had to wait ages for someone to come and inspect his rubbish work ..... to then be told We have to wait again for someone else to come out to correct it. This is ridiculous, specially with the amount of money spent.

Spent £3700.00 on a sofa that looked terrible after only a few weeks. If you hold the cushions up you can see daylight through them, Furniture Villages response was to plump the cushions and dress the sofa! Seat has dropped where sat in, Furniture Village response was to say I need to rotate and sit in a different seat each day! Back cushions are uneven height, Furniture Village response this is normal as recliner seats use component parts!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A SOFA FROM FURNITURE VILLAGE!!!

I am giving this one star as I cannot give minus figures Stay away from this business!!! we paid over £4000 for a 100% leather suite. The first suite was returned as the mechanism was bent. the replacement suite has started to peel, after less than 2 years. when we complained the fault was 'diagnosed' immediately from 10 miles away by the sales person who sold us the suite coincidentally, as being down to my medication, the same person who sold it to us in the first place but failed to mention it, and who now advises me that it is still not their policy to warn people of this despite the fact that there are 19m blood thinner takers in the UK. after some reluctance the sales person agreed to send out a technician, and he has diagnosed the same issue and FV have advised it is not their fault, but have not provided any authoritative evidence to back the assertion about medication up, nor is it covered by their product guarantee , despite the fact that they have identified it as an issue it is not an exclusion in their guarantee. unable to find much information on the internet I discussed this with more reputable furniture manufacturers in the UK, who have never heard of medication as an issue , and suggest that this is most likely due to manufacturers not adhering to UK standards, this is what we get when we import rubbish from China. AS I suggested at the beginning, stay away from this company. The quality of the furniture, the Furniture Protection Plan, (warranty) the information given by sales people, the customer service are all the same rubbish standard

Beyond awful customer service - Never again! Pay extra elsewhere. Placed an order on 21 August 2020 for delivery within 11-12 weeks. Today marks week 20 and still nothing. Whilst I appreciate covid and Brexit has impacted the world - FV continue to claim that they are making deliveries. - I received emails saying deliveries were still being made and expected my order in Nov 2020 - delivery date came and went - I contacted FV who advised it would be early December (no apology) - Early December came and went no communication from them so I contacted them and was told to wait an additional week....nothing - Then I receive an email saying due to Brexit it was estimated and they would contact me 4th Jan....again nothing - I email on the 5th and now I am being told maybe by end of January 2023 (23 weeks) for a sofa which to be quite frank is nothing special - I could have had a bespoke sofa made in this ridiculous period of time. They provided a slap in the face of £110 refund which whilst is better than nothing, it doesn't compensate for this absurd delay and terrible/misleading/non-existent communication. Never again

Ordered a sofa and matching chair beginning of September with a twelve week delivery time, this came and went with no contact from FV whatsoever. So we made numerous phone calls to the store we where finally given a date for delivery of the 22nd December, after going into store (as no one returns your calls), On the 21st December we checked that our ordered was still due for delivery the following day we where told yes everything is in the green and we should receive a text with the time slot. Well the delivery came the next day a loan two seater sofa not our order god only know when we will receive that sometime in January 5 month after they had taken our money disgusting service first and last order I will ever place with FV how they have the nerve to advertise on TV is behind me. You can see from the attached pictures what we ordered to what actually arrived

Supplied and installed slider wardrobe one door glass no issues second door is wood and is very light. The wooden door vibrates and rattled when pulled open or one walks nearby the unit, they claim it’s because my floor moves ! New laminate floor does not move, the door has lateral movement and not fit for purpose. After installing soft close units they claim they’ve done their bit of goodwill gesture and fobbed me off. I’m looking to take them to the local county court and expose them. Have made many purchases in the past no issues will not buy from them again after this.

Not even worth for one Star, there is no option not to select STAR. Warning!!!!!This company(Furniture Village Staines) is selling poor Quality, QC Unapproved Approved , Safety Critical issue and Health Risk SOFAs and the store management are cheaters. I can't believe, How he can sell an faulty ex-Display Sofas to a patient. First instant, It shouldn't be displayed on the retail floor My Wife is Rheumatoid Arthritis and Crohn's patients. She wanted to a recliner and A relaxing Sofa. I went to see Sofas Furniture Village Staines and Brought one Ex-Displayed five seaters. The price was advertised as £995. I checked the external martials fibric and looks fine with me. I've asked the salesmen in details on any faulty the magnesium or issue or even ripped. He told me this is an ex-displayed one, its close to brand new. Since I was in a rush, I told my wife to ask them if the management is happy with Sum of £900. The Store Manager in Staines, with out any hesitation he agreed. She paid full amount. We were so happy about the sofa and collected the after a week. When we started to place the sofa in our drawing room we found number of holes on underneath each sofa set. The fibric underneath the Sofa has been ripped by a person. Mainly on the relaxing Sofa, when I had a look through the hole I found the springs are hanging on the balance, there is not support. Lucky me, I only the person sat on the sofa and found Safety critical issue. Imagine, what happen if my daughter sat on the sofa? She should have injured herself.

Excellent service from point of sale to delivery. I searched online for the perfect fit, corner sofa for our lounge, then paid Funiture Village, Southampton a visit on Aug Bank Holiday 2020. I knew the suite I wanted & had triple checked the online measurements, but needed to visit store to test the comfort. I was met by Victoria, the store manager & WOW what a lovely individual she is. She was able to answer all my questions i.e. “when’s the cut off date for pre Christmas delivery” amongst others & I left the store feeling happy, positive & equipped with lots of knowledge but knowing I’d need to place the order by the following week end for a pre Christmas delivery. At no time did Victoria push me into signing on the dotted line, to the contrary, following all my questions, she wanted to be sure I was buying exactly what I wanted. So, the following week end, I returned to see Victoria, placed my order, which arrived 2 weeks ago & the two delivery men could not do enough to ensure, the service was executed with the greatest of customer care too. They provided their own tread mats to ensure my new carpet wasn’t dirtied & ensured to adhere to the present social distancing measures. As a family, we are all so happy with our lovely cosy new lounge & the customer care received from The Furniture Village team is second to none! To top it all, Victoria called me after delivery to make sure all was well! I honestly couldn’t ask for anything more! 😊

I have ordered my corner sofa bed in October 2020. Sales person assured me that sofa will be delivered in pieces and put together in my flat as the sofa I have ordered is quite big. Delivery was arranged first week in December, so I got rid off my old sofa. Delivery came, furniture in only two pieced so will not fit through door. After many calls and left messages, following delivery date was cancelled on the morning, rearranged for following day. Just to be cancelled again. I was assures that sofa was taken apart and will be delivered in two days time. When 4th attempt happened, delivery guys came with sofa as previous, so ofcourse didn't fit again. Was told manager will call me the same day - never did. I have left number of voicemails for somebody to call me back. So I am left without sofa for the last two weeks, and on Christmas and my £3000 sofa in warehouse. I am very upset and disappointed with Furniture Village customer service and approach to the whole situation.
