Like all the other 100s of complaints, Failure to supply order from 08/04, ticket raised to cancel order, reported to cc company for refund & trading standards!

Exactly the same as everyone on here. This company is atrocious I ordered early April - nothing I shall be claiming my money back from the card company avoid gardening express they do not deliver!!!!!

Quick to take charge credit card on 10 April then nothing - no plants. Have emailed 3 times now to cancel order but they fail to respond. One generic email received saying we haven’t forgotten you but due to corona virus slow delivery etc... ordered plants from a couple of other suppliers and plants arrived within 10 days so it can be done. No contact number - overall terrible customer service avoid at all costs

Same as everyone ,frustrated as no contact number. I ordered on 10th April, nothing to date , now it is 9th May. Wasted £47.00 .

Shocking customer service ordered 7th April not heard a thing!! Can’t contact at all, Shame on you you frauds of a company everyone you have fooled should report you and get you closed with whatever business you are claiming to do!!!

Placed this order 9th april and paid, still no sign of order and not able to contact them. I fear I have lost my money? I don't think they have any intention of fulfilling this order! Never deal with this company!

Same experience. No communication despite emails, 'tickets', FB and Twitter plea. Nothing, except to block me. Eventually, 5 weeks later my account info altered very slightly. Still 'processing' but now 're-order option. When I clicked that link it showed that 4 of 5 items are 'out of stock'! No refund option. No email communication and Gardening Express have now asked Trustpilot to investigate my review. Please, please be aware that a few are lucky but many appear to have lost their money. I don't know if I will EVER see my money again.

Ordered on the 17th April , took my money and no delivery , an email saying we are taking on more staff - not good enough . Don’t take the orders if you can’t supply the goods in the 15 working days as stated . Steer clear .

I ordered £60 worth of plants from Gardening Express On the 11th April and they have not yet arrived. I ordered similar On the same day from another gardening company and they have come. I have emailed but no reply, I am really disappointed.

Same as all the other reviews. Paid for two orders on the 9th April. They took the money from my account on the 14th April and have not heard a thing from them. No response from previous emails sent. Absolutely disgusted! Avoid this company! S. Izzard Reading

Same as everyone else. Ordered plants on 26/4 and still waiting. Received an automated email on 5/5/ saying they had not forgotten about me but no estimate for delivery. My only recourse now is the credit card company

Apart from taking the money from my bank I have not had any contact since May 11th. I have sent numerous emails, all contact systems are shut down. I am absolutely disgusted. Everyone will be rushed off their feet at the nurseries and their website says they are short staffed and not advertising. They are not so short staffed that they cant take the money out of my account! They are also still advertising!

My order hasn't arrived. Have no way of contacting them as phone line has been disconnected. Very disappointed and would never order from them again. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Does anyone know if they are still in business.

I ordered £150 worth of plants on 19th April. All plants I ordered were “In Stock”!! Note that before I ordered we had read good reviews but on reading current ones I now regret this!! We have had one email, in this time, advising that we are not forgotten but the company has still taken our money, not delivered any plants and no communication since! Times are hard for everyone Gardening Express, surely you shouldn’t take any funds from customers until orders are dispatched. You are being quite unfair by taking down all forms of meaningful communication. Even if you are abiding by social distancing measures we all know that phones and emails can be redirected so that concerns can be dealt with. This in itself would stop unsatisfied customers writing such poor reviews, as a simple explanation or apology for delays would help us understand. Please be honest and if you cannot fulfil orders let the customers know and process their refunds.

I placed an order on the 11th April and still not had a reply to my emails informing me when I should expect delivery. I have not even received a reply to their own customer message service which they have set up. I understand the impact of the current situation on business but a reassuring communication to all customers wouldn't go amiss. If Gardening Express is experiencing issues with their delivery service then they should make that obvious to customers at the point of online ordering. We are still waiting for any sort of communication from Garden Express concerning the order.

Still no sign of my order in 31 days placed on 9th April . Money has been taken . Order still says processing. Won't be using them again and nor will anyone I know! By the time my order comes it will probably be too late for the plants . No contact from them or action from queries raised. Credit cArd company only cancels money for orders over £100

Terrible. Waited over a month and no delivery or answers to ticket enquiries. This company is happy to take payments but in terms of fulfilling orders, forget it.

Ordered £42.00 worth of plants on 8th April. Like others I have had no delivery nor any communication. I emailed them but again no response. I noted that they had admin staff to take payment. I fear I have been had. Avoid this company at all costs. Next we’ll hear they are in administration.

Absolutely awful. Mature clematis arrived dead. No response from gardening express at all . £45 down the drain . Don’t buy from them .
