“Wrote my beautiful Audi A4 off exactly 10 days ago, my own stupid fault, wet road lost control, had £5k outstanding on finance, valued the vehicle at £4k online, market value £5k online. Was going to be stuck in debt because of this, then Dugless from claims asked a few question, says vehicle is valued at £5900!!! Said didn't matter what I valued at paying out what is FAIR! Insurance companies being fair? When did this happen, not only cleared the finance, but enough money to sort out a new car (cheap 2nd hand one so be it), but I thought this would absolutely ruin me for a few years work wise and travelling....
