“I have my car insurance with Admiral but fortunately I haven't had to submit a claim with them. Recently, they sent me a renewal proposal that meant an increase in premium of ~£20, an example of loyalty penalty. I found a cheaper quote from another provider (~£60 cheaper) and called Admiral to cancel the renewal. They were very friendly and matched the quote I had. For the same cost, I then decided to stay with Admiral (less hassle than changing).”
“I was with admiral for 2 years and never had any problem. Although my insurance was quite expensive. So I decide to use confused. com and came out with better prices for the same insurance coverage, so I contacted admiral to see if they would match the offers that I had, that they said wouldn't be possible. That is the only reason I change insurance.”
“After all the advertising about car and now household insurance Admiral have not been in touch with me. Their loss, I insured the house and contents with another company. Their sales service needs to be investigated....... never mind the gogeous advertising model.”
“No review really--just went with the best quote--be interesting to see what is quoted at renewal time. No doubt it will be a lot higher--it usually is even if you have not made a claim.”
“I wanted a new insurance company for my car as Sainsbury's had been an absolute nightmare. Admiral provided a good value for money offer and I went for it- simple as that!”
