“Horrendous customer service, your advisor laughed down the phone at me. I asked to speak to a manager and for a complaint to be logged as I will be cancelling my policy with you. I have had no follow up. AVOID”

“They promised a guaranteed return on my investment but after investing my life savings, I got nothing in return. They seemed legitimate at first, but it was all a scam. I urge people to stay away from awful platforms and not risk their hard-earned money like I did. “Have current insurance so I tried to get my car insured with budget and keep my insurance although I got a quote of £868 and when I went onto get it because there was no reference number the customer agent at budget had to do a new quote at over £2000 I asked her to explain this and why I couldn’t claim the go compare quote that I had received she simply said it was because I had current insurance and there was no reference numbers so I asked if she could do something and was really not helpful at all seems to be always a problem when taking insurance with budget always so problem”

“Very pleased with cost of renewal, we expected a steep rise and would then have to shop around but were pleasantly surprised price was about the same. Never had to claim so hope that aspect would be as good if we had to.”

“Renewed with Budget (for 2 cars) - the price was about £150 cheaper than last year, had trouble printing documents (certificate of insurance) for one of the vehicles but after contacting Budget a copy was quickly sent by post.”

“On renewal disappointed with quote. After a ten minute phone call with them an acceptable reduced figure was agreed, if this had been offered initially it would have gone down better. This being said, they were very helpful, courteous and efficient in the renewal. Hopefully if they play ball on renewal next year I will remain a loyal member.”

“Over the last two years the policy price has doubled and I don't seem to have as much cover, despite being a customer for nearly 20 years and never making a claim. On top of this I can't seem to figure out how to cancel the policy without incurring an unfair fee. I haven't wanted to continue with this since the price doubled but the policy automatically renews and it shouldn't. I should be informed that my policy is about to end, with at least a month notice and then asked if I wanted to renew it or not. At the moment I don't get a choice in the matter and I feel this is wrong”
