“Had to make a class m recently. Budget responded very quickly . Hampered by slow assessors at the underwriters , which meant we had to chase them to get a decision . But generally sorted out positively .”

“I have been with Budget for several years but got charged an additional amount of £20 because the card payment failed and it was because the end date was wrong and I hadn’t realised. I rang and explained giving the correct details but they wouldn’t remove the charge. I won’t renew with them next year as they were more expensive this year but I stayed out of loyalty……..they obviously don’t allow you to make one small error so no loyalty from them as a company!”

“Not impressed. Rang to add 22 year old son onto insurance, and it was a total rip off; we found a much cheaper quote for him going alone. Insurance has gone up despite no claims being made. Only renewed due to forgetting; won’t be making that mistake again. My advice - avoid.”

“Awful company with terrible customer service. Has no interest in looking after or retaining customers. Will be moving my policy elsewhere and warning everybody I possibly can. Their attitude towards customer service leaves me with zero faith that they would ever look after me during a claim. Awful company, please spend a little extra and avoid.”

“As much as they are cheap the renewal quote only saved me little from the previous year, forgetting about calling them to cancel is the only reason I'm still with them... not next year, I could have saved myself over £200 on the annual premium... Worth shopping about and seeing what's out there. Customer service is meh!, prices are average and everything is via email which is OK if savvy, not good if you do not know what you are doing...”

“Will not be insuring with him again quoted me one price on the phone picked up my new vehicle then they decided to charge me another £99 escalated it to the complaints department who said they would listen to the call and call me back guess what no one is called me but they’ve taken the money out of my bank the word rip-off comes to mind”

“I have been with Budget for quite a few years. Several year ago I had a minor bump, (not my fault) they sorted out efficiently. Despite the small increase in premium they have delivered a very good service. I would not hesitate in recommending them.”
