“I have not actually had any contact with Budget Insurance as yet. I was with O2 and was told they were no longer doing car insurance and I was asked if I would like to transfer to Budget, which I did”

“Good price for insurance, but...changed address and whilst I was surprised and happy to see my insurance go down a few pence, being charged £20 to do an online change seems a bit of an unfair charge. No documents are posted out due to an online portal to print at my own cost and no person was on the other end of a phone with a calculator. I understand that's what I signed up for but seems excessive when technology has advanced. I have another vehicle with Direct Line and they charge nothing at all for an online change.”

“Good service and very helpful, my only complaint is the charge to change my circumstances 3 weeks before renewal. I believe if all documents are on line it’s easy to change without a cost.”

“Budget took over my car insurance from O2 and I wondered if this would result in a big hike in the premium but it was both fair and straight forward. Haven’t had to make a claim and can’t comment on this part of the policy but so far so good”

“Renewed for second year after negotiating renewal price, as this had increased quite a lot in the quote. Agreed a revised renewal price with a helpful telephone operator. Not had to claim so cannot comment on this.”
