When i changed my car they wouldn't insure me so had to leave. And im saving £1000 a year not being with them

When I buy on-line I sometimes miss the personal service and comprehensive detail that comes from the personal touch. I think Churchill are not alone.

times are hard but when you are Three times {Yes Three Times more ] THAN someone other companies after being with you for many years . I feel very let down . So I am going some ware they like my money and give me the same cover for A LOT les .

Have been with them for 2 years. Really like their customer service teams. No waiting time over the phone, always helpful and you can feel they take pride in doing their job properly. My only complaint would be about the admin fees they charge for change of details. That's £15 I think when you move out and £50 when you end the policy early. That's ridiculously expensive when it's just about a few clicks on their computer screen. But again they didn't charge me £15 when my details changed because I broke up with my ex. However I had to move abroad for work and was charged £50 for leaving early which is too much!

Churchill are ok as they are very much like any other standard insurance company ie pays your monies then if you have an accident they at least respond even though if your car is written off by the 3rd party in an accident dont count on getting ALL your monies back for another car. However, I will very much advise - DO NOT GO TO SLATER GORDON SOLICITORS, they are weak at and seam to have no proper fight in them to help you claim monies from 3rd party's insurance. My advice go to a more independent solicitor like JF Law that will have your interests to fight on behalf of you.

I wanted to renew my car insurance with them on 9th April. Each day up to 6th April there were waiting times in excess of 20 minutes on the phone. I gave up and went to Performance Direct for £25 cheaper.

Altogether the policy isn't good. Good at corrasponding but policy guidelines or rules are very poor.

I refer to a claim made in May on car insurance. The company that carried out the repair was difficult and did not fulfill promises made. They were miles away, and kept turning up at my house when I informed them I was at work. They used a lot of my petrol which they said they would replace - that never happened. The claim still has not been finalised, despite many calls made to Churchill. I get the same promise of being kept informed, that the case will now be regularly checked. I am still waiting. Very disappointed with the service from Churchill. Would not recommend them based on my experience.

My car had slight damage following an accident. Made some enquiries to customer service who sent out documents and asked for photos of damage etc. Documents were returned to Churchill straight away but hadn't heard anything within a few weeks so emailed numerous times for an update - my emails were completely ignored. When I did get through to customer services by phone, they hadn't even opened my email attachment with photos - this was nearly 3 months after the incident. Not impressed.

We have been asked by our mortgage provider to show their interest in writing on our house insurance. Whilst the people on the phone were helpful, we have yet to receive this document after nearly 3 weeks. We fail to understand why it would take 7 working days to print out a piece of paper, pop it in an envelope and put in the post. It can't always be the Royal Mail's fault.....!! We have now tried 3 times for this document, so fingers crossed....... Short of going there in person we don't know what else we can do??
