Took my many years no claims, then wrote it off, claiming it was just honouring it and mirroring it. They said it was all above board, but basically they were trying to lock me in. I am now down to 1 YNC without making any claims.

Churchill has a fear of fixing infotainment system that have malfunctiond during a crash. My guess is there too expensive to fix/replace. And just want to fix obvious damage at the cheapest cost.

Posted a one star review of home insurance 3 days ago and surprise, surprise, it wasn't there the next day which proves that someone at Churchills read them. Because this happened I sent in a review to Trust pilot. The very next day I got a phone call from Churchill informing me of how I misinterpreted what they told me. As a result a £198 plumbers bill will now be paid to me (as a goodwill gesture), and the cost of renovation to my water damaged walls and ceiling which they estimated at £1,300 pounds and for which my lowest estimate was £1,900. It would seem now that was something else I misunderstood, as I instructed tradesman Churchill would not accept. So I compromised and accepted a repair job for the £1,300 they were prepared to pay. Now they tell me on the phone they would have accepted £1,900!! Too late, the repair is underway. No mention of recompense for outright lies. I repeat, do not trust this company. I will be cancelling car insurance now since all trust has gone. It will be interesting to see if this review goes the same way as the previous one. Will let you know.

I would go on with the company. There were no issues at all. Maybe only mobile assistance could be faster.

The worse car insurance out there. Emma Uren ignored an email for 2 months and has now cost me my insurance. They have cancelled the insurance without warning because my previous provider doesn't have a fancy logo printed on their no claims information. That is enough for me to be told my insurance expired yesterday!

Took out car insurance. Made a claim as it was not my fault (third party was an 18 year old who had a license for about 3 months) however as it was a mini roundabout they said it had to be 50-50 fault wise. Said they would chase up third party after 21 days, I even had to find the council contact details for the CCTV which I gave them. This would have cleared my claim to a no fault claim however long story short they didn't contact them; the council deleted the footage after 31 days. If you want an insurer that doesn't do what they are getting paid to do, go right ahead. Definitely has taught me a lesson.

I had 2 months left on my policy when I purchased a new car. I called Churchill to cancel my policy. I was charged nearly £50 to cancel my policy which was around the same price as keeping the policy running. I feel exploited as I’m paying for a service I am getting. Buyer beware.

Despite my informing Churchill (on 13th February, spoke to Diane who assured me she'd made the change on their system) that I did not want to renew with them (prior to my policy expiration 11 March) I got a letter saying they'd autorenewed on 15th March - four days after expiration. I phoned on 15th, spoke to Kirsty who assured me absolutely that it was cancelled and that they would definitely not take payment. Today, 19th March, I see that they've taken a random amount £204.96 from my account. This is outrageous - I have only just enough in my account to prevent this making it overdrawn. Do not deal with these people - even if you record dates and names they will still take your money. They can only be just this side of legal behaviour.

For the first time in my life I made a claim on my Household Insurance Policy. Because of the circumstances I could easily have exaggerated the claim, but I didn't. I had all my the facts in place, with supporting evidence. It was dealt with so Professionally, and within 7 days a substantial settlement was agreed, and payment to my Bank received 2 days later. Both Policies that I have with Churchill have just been renewed ( Home & Car). They have gone up, and we are always being encouraged to "shop around" Not a chance! For piece of mind the extra cost is worth paying. Well done Churchill.

One of the easiest agencies to deal with for motor insurance.

Disgusting treatment my vehicle was damaged by a Churchill customer and went in for repairs and was return to me with a broken front spring. My vehicle was in perfect working ordered and have proved this via pre work checks yet neither the body shop or Churchill are willing to pay for the work as they it’s wear and tear! So I’m £120 out of pocket for something that’s not my fault. What shocks me more is they deem this acceptable! Avoid at all costs

ok insurer, not the cheapest. MOST ANNOYING ADVERTS ON THE PLANET; if it wasn't for comparison sites I wouldn't have used Churchill because of their inane adverts: change your advertising agency for God's sake.

I have been a good customer for 6 years and Churchill just kept putting up my premiums every year. My fault for thinking they would value my custom and not con me! I was paying £710 a year with Churchill and have just gone to RAC for £188. I am so anniyed with my self for trusting this company to have my best interests at heart.

Awful company - did even bother to inform me about a claim made against me. Terrible communications, no information and try to sneak up insurance each year. Will never use again.
