Worst insurance company ever!! Quick to take your m9ney but no customer service or after care when you are involved in a accident. The advisers lie!!! Don't do it avoid company at all cost.

Biffa refuse lorry hit my car on 8/1/19 and immediately admitted liability. I asked if I could choose a Kia approved repair centre but was told by Churchill call handler that I had to use one of their approved repairers DLG Auto Services who I've now been told is owned by them. To be fair that kicked in straight away. However I sought advice from Kia who told me that legally I could request to have my car repaired by a Kia specialist. So stopped the pick up from Churchill's option and told them the name of the body repair specialists where I wanted my car to go. Now they seem to be dragging their heels on the referral which I've been told could take another week on the basis they are dealing with a back log which isn't really my problem, I've paid my insurance premium and expect to be dealt with equally regardless of who does the repairs ! Also had to justify the need for a courtesy car despite paying a premium for this and my insurance documents stating a courtesy car is guaranteed. This did though arrive the next day so I'm happy with that aspect. Written confirmation from the 3rd party's insurers wasn't enough for Churchill to waive my excess for a non-fault accident and required a verbal conversation with the insurer which wouldn't have happened had I not pushed Churchill to make the call. On the face of it Churchill offer a two-tier service based on whether you use their own repair centres or a repairer of your own choosing.

You don't know how a insurance company preforms until you have a accident. The problem I had is I live in Northernireland and my insurance cover was only third party when I was in the Irish Republic I only live 35 miles from the border. I play some golf there not often.

I wish I could even put a minus, I would absolute thiefs I insure my car with them just to tell me after 12 months of paying insurance that my insurance was cancelled. absolutely awful never again

If I could give a minus rating I would, worst company to deal with claims, was hit stationary, waiting in traffic, however Churchill didn’t have the decency to liaise with me after my claim not explaining the process as other driver was insured in Poland, claims department spend more time dictating, service been atrocious, refused to take my car to DLG auto repairs as reviews are bad, expect me to liaise with own garage but yet Churchill are to authorise the the work, receive calls from Churchill saying my car is with DLG when it was towed to a salvage place for assessment, the list is never ending! Worst people ever to deal with, taken further to financial ombudsmen, it’s ridiculous the way they deal with things.

I made claim today after I had slight bump with somebody. I reversed off my drive and did checks but this chap must of been in my blind spot and I hit his front wing. Made phone call to Churchill was reassured and put at ease. This is first time after 25 years plus of driving this had happened so was very unsure how this would pan out. Straight away put at ease and other driver had phone call with the hour to say no worry his car picked up tomorrow and hire car dropped at same time. BIG THANK YOU TO CHURCHILL. FIVE STAR ALL DAY LONG.

Changed from Saga to Churchill after Saga increased my premium to an unacceptable level. Churchill offered a better deal, so I changed back to Churchill ( my preferred insurance before I changed to Saga was Churchill who also increased my premium to an unacceptable level, so I changed to Saga) Strange world where loyalty is not rewarded. Will ALWAYS look around for a good deal.
