It didn't really, I rang to reduce my cover and was quoted almost double, being treated as a new quote, not a renewal..

My insurance expired The renewal price wasn't available I was charged more because I hadn't allowed atomic renewal... I have been a customer for some years Very disappointed with renewal price xx

Every thing was carried out as expected. Although one would expect with having not made a claim and a loyalty bonus no increase in premium.

Unfortunately I received a renewal notice doubling this year's premiem but after a short discussion the price was dropped . Why would a company do this sort of thing. As a pensioner I am not stupid. I wonder if the sort of action will be repated next year??? Not happy!!

well after giving me a renewal quote for £1300 i looked for other insurance and found cheaper so i rang up too cancel my insurance i was asked for my new quote i told them and they offered me insurance for just over £800 so why couldn’t you do that in the first place which annoys me

Well it didn't really. It was still the cheapest I could find, but the price had still risen over 30%. Considering I only drive 400 miles per year average, I consider that a lot. However, it does have breakdown cover with it, so that gives peace of mind. Judging by some of the prices quoted on price comparison sites it would almost seem reasonable.

Have been with Dial Direct for a few years and have been very happy with service and premium. This year the premium has doubled which is very disappointing.

My car insurance increased by 30% which was a shock. Dial direct used to apply some discount but on this occasion decided they couldn’t. Disappointed loyal customer.

My quote was reasonable but wife's quote was poor so she left for a better deal. Multi car insurance is something that dial direct should cater for and would help keep customers. I will probably leave next year for a multi insurance policy

The cost of my insurance had gone up, however I didn’t really get a good explanation why. I have not made any type of claim or even an accident. The only other concern, I have is the dialdirect agent was suppose to phone me, concerning the annual automatic renewal to my current policy for the following year. I did not want this feature tied into the current policy.

I am happy but not as much as last year. The reason being my car insurance annual payment has been increased from £219(approx.) last year to £243(approx.) this year without assigning any reason.

This year car insurance was well over the top in price. I save myself nearly two and fifteen pounds by shopping around. If you want to keep your customers Then you need to match the Internet prices.

Good prices even compared to online. However... they sent me a renewal quote £150 higher than last year, £150!!!!!. On calling they immediately got it down to my last years quote. Presume they hope people wont call to question it. I asked why the didn't send me that initially and remained quite confirming my suspicions. Not cutting my nose off spite my face carried on with them.
