Scammers. We took out a policy for a car we were buying but the purchase fell through a day after so we phoned to cancel the policy as never actually even received the car. They charged us £25 for having the policy for ONE day! Very rude and argumentative on the phone too. All normal, reputable companies offer 14 days cooling off period so that the customers feel respected when things like car sales fall through and not feel that companies like Carole Nash are there just to take your money and make you feel insignificant. We are clearly never going to be doing business with this company ever again.

Woeful company, cancelled my insurance without being notified. Very cheap but very poor, dear oh dear.......🤦‍♀️

Been with them a lot of years ! Quoted £3500 last year , got it down to £500 two bikes and a car ! This year no renewal letter rung them twice ! I gave up and went else where ! When I asked for proof of NCB the guy from carol Nash said hope you come back next year ?????? What a rubbish company ! Got toobig????? Please carol Nash don’t reply to my comment

I was insured with them (for my car) 18 hours...18 HOURS before they text me to say that, with my old insurer, they had a "fault" claim for when my car windows were smashed by vandals - and which had not affected my NCD of 4 years. Due to this they wanted to change my policy and add an EXTRA £201; increasing my policy to just over £400 - 110%! Obviously I wasn't going to accept that, so i just said cancel & I'd look elsewhere. That is when they mentioned the dreaded "admin fee" of £25. I'd been insured (technically not been insured) for less than ONE DAY; during which THEY had changed my contract with them, not the other way round. Despite my protests and insisting they take no more money from me (I'd already paid a £19 deposit - which of course I was never going to see again) they were not moving! Pure, utter, greed! Insurance highway men! Avoid like the plague. Awful company!

This company are terrible. They are completely incompetent. They failed to recognise an error in claims. Despite giving proof and assurances. Registered a compliant but takes 5 to 8 weeks. Hours on the phone but no answer.

I have been trying to get a refund after a claim where I had my NCD removed till the claim was settled now 2 years later I still have not had the refund for the overpayment of premiums ! As always quick to take money but don’t want to give it back

Was promised hard copy of insurance documents by phone when I took out my policy.. despite sending e mails and writing to their head office I am still waiting after almost two months.. not impressed.

Shocking, sold my bike after 6 months, was going to charge me 51 pound to cancel insurance which is worthless to me now, said if i dont pay it in 7 days ot goes to debt collection, said i dont have that money due to the cost of living crisis, told them to keep the policy live for now, cant do that so ive a bill coming i cant pay and they are happy for me to get into debt when ive explained my situation, disgusting customer service!

Carole nash told me my exhaust cannon the bike was a minor then 8 weeks with the underwriters they voided my claim over the same exhaust can , they just don’t want to pay out and use any little excuse not to .then to top it off they cancelled my dual bike policy and voided my insurance all over the same can . Rip off bastards avoid at all cost have used them for years but will Never ever use them again

Ended my insurance with clear communication, left me completely in the lurch when my bike was stolen. Their communication that my renewal hadn’t actually happened was beyond appalling. Won’t touch them EVER again !

When I took the policy out I was told it covered breakdown cover. I subsequently found ouf it didnt. When I came to renew they wanted £81.00 for a 60 year old man on a twist and go LML 125cc scooter with full no claims and no accidents or convictions. Pljs, I have been driving since the 1980's too. Everyone else offered more coverage for between £59.00 and £61.00. On the renewal is said call us if you get a lower quotation and I did. The guy said he couldent lower their quote of £81.00 unless I decreased the policy coverage. I told them not to renew. Bye bye Carole Nash...

Why can`t you have a negative star rating for this company? I cannot understand why carole nash are still in business,they have got to be one of the most appalling mis managed insurance companies in this country,in my opinion.Having spent nearly three hours on the phone to simply transfer cover from one bike to another,they then contacted me re an "urgent matter".Another hour on the the phone and they do not know why they sent the letter.WHAT!!!!!! It is time this company was closed down.They are totally incompetent.

Absolute shambles of a company. Emailed within 14 days to cancel my policy, no reply. Tried to get through on the phones on several occasions only to have the phone put down on me when i got through. Now managed to get through after the 14 day cooling off period only to be told the insurance policy i tried to cancel will cost me upwards of £130.00, shocking. To make things worse, the chap i spoke to (agent id 162052) had absolutely no clue what the policy document they send says or the terms of that document, a aptly perfect representation of this company.

E U breakdown assistance from carol nash. I collapsed while on a motorcycle tour of Norway, air lifted to hospital suspected heart attack, also cracked and bruised ribs due to CPR. I contacted carol nash to see if they could assist with the repatriation of my motorcycle , as I was unfit to ride it. I was told your motorcycle hasn't broken down we can't assist with this problem. Flabbergasted. I can only assume it would be the same if your vehicle was involved in an accident.
