Your telephone service is BAD. Your staff asking question in a rude manner, not using her common sense or customer service and treated us like a criminal. Lloyds Bank - we are wondering how do you select your telephone service staff?? and they are the one flying your brand ....badly!!

All the 5 star reviews are from the bank itself all anonymous and fake this bank have no idea how to treat customers and anyone thinking of using or having an account should keep well clear. It is about time the regulator sorted out these cartel banks

Terrible phone customer service - I have to wonder if they even know who the customer is? So arrogant and rude.

Been a Lloyds bank customer for decades - hands down the rudest phone customer service staff I ever have to engage with.

Been a customer for over 20 years, used to receive tenants rent, my salary, pay mortgage, credit cards and tax and used debit card for theatre tickets, petrol, odd clothing purchase, never used abroad and never over drawn. Boom letter, no longer can continue banking relationship, so thinking it must be mistake, make appeal appointment with bank manager. Bank manager agrees with appeal, makes appeal against closure, and I hear nothing. Make second appointment with bank manager who adds further comment to appeal in my favour and adding his opinion that he can see nothing untoward with account or the way I operate account to add weight to my appeal and says he will chase weekly. I have been today back to bank and he said, he is hearing nothing back, nothing at all. My appeal is not even being looked into, decision made and account will be closed now in less than two weeks. Have four of five kids grown up with Lloyds accounts and my husband all waiting on Lloyds actually closing my account before they close theirs in protest. I don't want any family members or anyone I know treated like this. Meanwhile I have to have salary and payments in all altered to a another account, and all payments the same. No reason whatsoever given for their decision because apparently they don't have to, despite the local bank manager appealing on my behalf. Ridiculous.

Lloyds Bank takes very little care about their customers and their approach is nothing but mercenary! The bank provides no insurance or support for victims of financial frauds and tries to do everything not to reimburse their clients, giving trivial and condescending explanation!

Don't actually rate one star but no minus star. Obtaining my balances on two accounts by 'phone has now become obsolete, and I will NOT go online with my account numbers for what should be obvious reasons. I live six miles away from the ONLY bank in Market Rasen, so reluctantly carried on from the brilliant TSB to Lloyds .I believe the cessation of the telephonic balance service is deliberately done to keep customers ignorant of their overdraft status, so that some.will inadvertently become over drawn, and charged, because of it. Now if I want my balance I shall have to drive into Rasen when the bank opens to obtain the info. Disgusting bank. AVOID this bank at all costs. We shall be moving our accounts 18 miles away back to TSB.

Unfortunately, I have lost my phone Samsung Galaxy s10 plus prism green mobile phone two weeks ago. I have called Lloyd bank phone insurance department to let them know I have lost my phone. They have asked me to provide all the paper works ie proof of purchase which is I did, network provider again I did, phone IMEI number and usage too. Plus my access £100 after all, now they have offered me Samsung Galaxy s10 plus Black. I said please find me same one not the black one. They are not willing to help me out. Their answers was we don't have green one. But how come insurance company will able to provide any customers needs (HELP) right? But I am not asking more. That's why we pay for the insurance. I am still waiting for my replacement galaxy s10 plus Prism Green mobile phone from Lloyds Bank insurance. Disgusting I am really disappointed after I have been with the bank since 1996. I think this is time me to change bank.

I tried to transfer up to 2k to my other bank account and they retained my money for security reasons. I called them 2 times and they treated me like a criminal not trusting my word or identity prove so I had to go to the closest branch and ask in person what is going on with my money. I spent 20 minutes speaking again by phone with the same guys, I had to show my full statement on my other bank showing how much money I have, etc because they didn't still trust it was me genuinely making that transfer of money! I had to spoke again with a hysterical and paranoid person over the phone who was treating me like a criminal just because I wanted to transfer MY money to another bank. This bank is ridiculous! I understand they have security rules but this was too much.

I had a student account with Lloyds bank with a £1500 arranged overdraft. They decided to remove the overdraft without notifying me even though I was still studying at university, thus putting my account in arrears and destroying my credit score. Their attack dogs at their credit department then starting calling me multiple times a day making threats and trying to comment on my personal finances. I will never go back to this bank as long as I live. Absolutely disgusting service and my credit score is still half what it would have been even though I paid off the account months ago. Avoid at all costs!!

After asking for advice from a Lloyds Business Manager, we followed all the steps to open an account online. After 3 weeks of back and forth, visiting 2 different branches, our account has still not been opened. 3 weeks of wasted time, no responses to voice/email messages from the Business Manager. For a large banking institution like Lloyds I find the customer service appalling. I will never be able to recommend Lloyds as my experience has been a total disaster and I am back where I started. Very bad back office Long waiting times for someone to pickup and they transfer you many times to people who then transfer you again . So the employees there do not know what they are doing or where to transfer your call.
