I was very disappointed when I opened my Mother’s Day flowers sent to me by my son and daughter in law. The flowers were wilting and the foliage crispy and dead. I tried, unsuccessfully to revive them. They should never have been despatched. I am very annoyed and expected better from M&S. I advise anyone do not send flowers from M&S. Shocking.

Two bouquets delivered for my birthday last wk. The first, alstroemeria, had crushed bent flowers, and blackened dying leaves to top of several stems. The second had roses that were dead/dying next morning; small shrivelled daisies; shrivelling anemones with curled crisping edges on all but one; tulips not in bud; and a branch of dry leaves. 4 days on from my birthday I have one anemone and 3 tulips left - plus 3 hyacinth heads which were fresh. I complained to M&S. Customer services were courteous, apologetic, helpful I was sent a big bunch of tulips. By day 5 many flower heads were dry or petals falling. Tulips bought in store (M&S, Waitrose, Sainsbury's) last 7 to 10 days. I will never order flowers for delivery from M&S. I have not told my nieces who sent the flowers, they would be so upset.

Mother’s Day flowers not acceptable. Roses past their best, bits of foliage broken in bottom of box all look bedraggled. Very dissatisfied. And not cheap! Delivered by a rude driver. I won’t be buying anything else.

I sent my mum some flowers yesterday for mother's day. My mum phoned to say she was very grateful for them but she said that there were a lot of dead flowers and crispy foliage. My mum phoned M & S today to get a refund and they honoured it and also gave my mum a £15 voucher as a gesture of good will. It's a shame so many people have experienced poor flowers as it's unlikely I will shop their for flower delivery again. But appreciate the prompt refund and good will.

My son paid good money to send me a bunch of flowers for mothers day. THEY Arrived with the box spaking, the bottom soggy and the flowers without water ...I tried to revive them but today one day later they are half dead and sad...very very disappointing.

My daughter sent a bouquet to me for Mother’s Day and when they arrived the water had spilt in the box and was soaking wet and the flowers stems were so wet and the leaves dying. Within two days a number of the flowers were dead and some didn’t even open and just rotted. I don’t feel I can say anything to my daughter as I know how upset she would be. I will never buy from M&S in the future.

Received flowers today from my daughter for Mother’s Day. They were terrible as a few arrived dead and the tulips where wilted. They weren’t in water and I’m not sure how long that would have been for in the delivery van?

Wrote a review on trust pilot to flowers ordered for Friday 25th march next day delivery- got an email saying delayed by 24hrs further email received saying delivery 30th march. Spoke to customer services who didn’t understand English just kept repeating phrase’s totally ruined my Mother’s birthday . Shocking that you look on website and it still offers next day delivery. Surely this is illegal will never shop at M & S again.

My son ordered Mother’s Days flowers to be delivered in the afternoon today. When they arrived and I opened them they looked wilted. A Rose was snapped at the head and there were remnants of other flowers in the bouquet in the delivery box. As with other reviews I did not want to seem disappointed to my son whom had visited for Mother’s Day. He is not a high earner so spending money on flowers when they are sub standard makes me very unhappy! I am going to complain to M&S myself.

If I could have given no stars however notan option. What a rip off, received as mother's day gift absolutely disgusted my son paid God knows how much for these dead flowers. As previously stated arrived inbox with no moisture or wet pack. You don't complain to the sender as they did with it love. M&S getting away with it as they are gifts, not right

A bunch of flowers arrived on my doorstep this afternoon, what a lovely surprise BUT they were bedraggled, half dead, mostly leaves and no water at all. How very disappointing and what bad value for money. I have received some wonderful flowers from M&S in the past so what is now going wrong.

Absolutely disgraceful flowers and service. Anne and her colleague bough smug and un-empathetic. What on earth happened to service. Shocking, on Mother’s Day to pay the prices they charge for this is disgusting and shameful. No hope for M&S if you’ve got employees like this. And products in such a state. In photos sits a set of roses my younger sister bought mum from Sainsbury's for £4. And the amount I paid in comparison is disgusting. Will be writing in to head office as it’s completely ruined my Mother’s Day. I mean how embarrassing.

Mother’s Day flowers arrived dead. Wilted and limp in the box, No water and no internal packaging. Bashed, flattened heads and snapped stems. This was the rose bouquet. Every rose long since dead from lack of water. Used to come in a cellophane water pouch, now sent dry and ready for the compost heap. Disgusting!!

Just received flowers that are dead or dying, not worth the money. Gone straight in the bin. I do not recommend buying from here.

My daughter has sent me M & S flowers for Mother’s Day again this year and, as last year, they are half dead. I will be informing her NOT to use M & S for flowers in future. Gave you the benefit of the doubt last year. NEVER AGAIN! Take note of what people are telling you and change your supplier.

Ordered the Best Wishes Bouquet which looked stunning at £45 for delivery today ( Mothers Day ) and they arrived on time but that’s as good as it gets . I am extremely disappointed as there are so many that are dying or wilted they truly were a pathetic bunch of flowers would have got better at a petrol station . They have refunded me now as I said a replacement would be pointless as its Mothers Day today .

For the second year running, the flowers received today on Mother’s Day are disgustingly poor. This year the flowers are almost dead and only fit for the compost bin. Last year the heads on the Sunflowers were snapped off and the Roses had gone over. I shall be advising our son to shop for flowers elsewhere on Mother’s Day in future. A very disappointed mother on this special day.
