“They gave me a £500 pound discount on top of the price they originally gave me”

“Despite having taken the insurance, there were so many calls I have blocked the number. 3 calls from the sales team who didn't know I had already taken the policy and 2 calls from the aftersales team selling me a ridiculous service to reduce my excess which was 25% of the cost of my policy! Will be looking elsewhere next year.”

“Never received renewal notice but received several "silent" calls which turned out to be from MCE. When I rang to renew, I was told that it would take 20 mins to give me a renewal quote even though they had all my details. I told him not to bother and went to Bennetts.”

“Been with mce for 3 years now,renewal is due so go through all the questions again only to be told unable to insure my son on the policy this year as his job falls under the entertainment section which it has been for the last policies,total joke and to top it off the bloke on the phones calling me mate and pal,very professional,would not recommened to anyone”

“You send out reminders by e-mail and post. When you ring to renew a policy which has been held for a long time in order to actually get the price you then have to go through all of the 30 questions, I suspect at a premium rate. No other insurance sends out a renewel minus the price. The details should all be the same ie if you have not changed address or had a conviction but to be asked again for my date of birth which of course is set from , well shall we say, my date of birth, just to get the price is a joke.The person says "we are scripted" all well and good for a new customer but just to renew. Even asked for the registrations , hello same bikes or else I wouldn't be renewing.Wont use again but did this time as couldn't face 30 questions from Swinton !.”

“I called your team on a few occasions and was given some very good advice of when and how to proceed with my bike insurance. The best advise was to wait until the NEC bike show and talk to one of your colleagues face to face. The service at the show was efficient, quick, and heavily discounted from my previous quotes as promised. I congratulate you on making the tedium of buying motorcycle insurance a pleasant experience.”
