Very poor, typical money grabbing brokers only interested in taking your money. I will not recommend MCE to anyone and suggest going direct to underwriters. Worst insurance company ever.

i insured my spanish plated bike so i could get a mot to reregister on uk plates,mce sent me a email saying they didnt insure foreign regestered bikes, ive just phoned them to see if i can get a refund and was talking to a right prick. im going to tell everybody i know not to deal with ths company!!

First year with mce quick and easy very helpful hope I can win v.i.p at British super bikes this year will be renewing with them next year very reasonable price and breakdown too!

""My son had the misfortune to be involved in a no fault accident back in April 17, he suffered crush injuries to his right leg as a result. The claim for personal injury is ongoing, however the claim in respect of his bike is still outstanding.....nearly 5 months later, as yet the bike hasn't even been inspected! The service to the customer displayed by MCE is truly appalling, I could kick myself for not reading the abundance of horror stories prior to my taking out cover with them. Never, never again, low cost as far as MCE is concerned equates to sub standard customer service, simple as that.....you get what you pay for!!

I had to cancel my insurance as my scooter broke down and the cancellation fee was a ridiculous amount of £60

I have tried several times to contact the claims department. There is no direct phone number I go straight to and answering machine. I have emailed several different email address and again they are failing to reply.

well when they say they are going to call back they should. also have a free phone number because it cost me £10 on my phone bill to renew it

I completed my insurance application on line and it quoted £238. When I went to pay it wouldn't accept payment so I used the telephone option. Although the operator could see my quote I had to go through the whole process again and was told it would be over £260 some £30 more! I challenged this and after the operator spoke with the manager it was reduced to £250. I was kept on the line for an excessively long time as I had to go through the quote process andthe many scipts the operator had to read me. I hope it is not a premier telephone. Not a pleasant experience.

had phoned 4 days before my policy expired & spent ages on hold before I got my renewal quote sorted. The girl on the phone promised me she would call me back at an approximate time, to finalise my renewal on the day my old policy expired. Great idea! No more waiting for 15 minutes on hold!!! After waiting for over 3 hrs for the call I decided to call you instead. After another 15-20 mins on hold I was finally cut off.... Finally!! After waiting for yet another 15mins on hold I got through & sorted my new policy. The girl on the phone actually told me there was a call back note on the computer!!! As this was on a Sunday, the weather being great & I was planning to go out on the bike for a few hours. I was not amused about this situation. Surely if a call back has been arranged, then somebody should check these on a daily basis?? All in all, a crap experience & totally buggered up my Sunday!!! :-( Cheers Les...

Easy to renew and decent price for all the extras they provide. Only 4 stars as I've never had to claim, this is usually the real test of a decent insurance company.

Not happy that my insurance doubled in price from last year 41 years riding with no accidents, was told anything Yamaha with R has doubled in price why penalise all Yamaha R1 riders. Les
