“Renewal process all geared around online - don’t even bother trying to get through to the call centre as you’ll just wait for ever then discover a big call charge from your mobile provider. The only way to speak to someone is to go to online chat (a bot) and request a callback. Why MCE can’t provide a straight renewal quote based on last year’s info I don’t know. Couldn’t use the customer portal either as it wouldn’t let me in. Very frustrating renewal process.”

“I CLICKED BUY NOW ON LINE, ENTERED MY CARD DETAILS AND CLICKED BUY. THE SCREEN WENT BLANK. I TRIED AGAIN AND IT SAID IT CANNOT RETRIEVE MY QUOTE. THIS VERY SAME PROBLEM OCCURED LAST YEAR, AND THE YEAR BEFORE THAT. I DREAD RENEWING MY INSURANCE EACH YEAR BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM OF PAYING ON LINE. MCE HAVE INSURED MY BIKES FOR THE LAST ELEVEN YEARS AND I HAVE NEVER HAD TO MAKE A CLAIM. THE THOUGHT OF HAVING TO MAKE CLAIM IS AWFUL.”
