I was very disappointed to learn that my motorcycle cover did not extend to my brother who was travelling from Canada for a visit,I needed him covered on my insurance but was told that because he lived outside the UK he could not be covered

Great experience thus far. Shame the compulsory excess is so high (£575) the only thing that lets them down.

Although my 3 bike insurance policy was renewed OK, the huge increase in premium was not acceptable £217 in 2016 to £330 in 2017, I have been with MCE for a number of years & have always had a good policy & very competetive premiums, whereby having stayed with the company even when a I incurred a small premium increase for a speeding offence. So I had to reduce the value of all 3 machines to get to an acceptable premium £260 still an increase of £43. I have never made a claim on motor insurance in my life. I believe customers like myself with my excellent history should be rewarded, so that you don't lose a valuable asset ME.

It was cheaper to buy a new policy than to transfer 1 years no claims bonus to an existing policy smh

It didn't-renewing the policy was a nightmare, if fact I nearly gave up and tried another insurer.

happy not really, I never received the policy by email in 48 hours, I always have to call back at least twice. your service is very pour. I think is time to change, from next year I start to shop around. You have to improve your service.

Competitive quote yet again,good telephone manner.Poor after service,no e mails to confirm payment or details of cover,policy etc,had to ring twice before e mail sent,this was past the date that renewal kicked,not satisfactory a poor let down compared with previous years.

Good price - not happy though with being called a few days later to persuade me to buy No Claims Bonus protection . If I wanted it I would have selected it at the point of purchase - yet another unwanted phonecall wasting my time

Responsive and polite. 50% increase in policy not so good, persuasive rep led me to agree but I should have looked again myself. Will do next time. My policy should be going down.

Forget renewing direct. Got a better price through comparison site. Also couldn't understand how I get an email 5 weeks after renewing telling me my policy has not been renewed though! Very worrying had to check my policy docs again!

As we all know insurances are more interested in selling than providing a good after sales service. Two days after getting my insurance this year, your customer service team did not have my motorbike's registration number linked to me or my home address so I had to wait for your team to confirm with another team, the information provided. After using this insurance with previous motorbikes and noticing that they NEVER sent the documentation of my policy (I always requested email instead of hard copy), this time MCE offered an online portal when I can see all my policy documents and these can be download straight away.
