“I was not over happy as even though I have 3yrs no claims discount, my policy price was more than I paid last year, also I feel apprehensive about using my breakdown cover again as the last time (in April this year ) it took almost 6HOURS to get recovered back to my house and I only live 16 miles from where I broke down and the designated garage which should of recovered me would not come out to me as their was a problem with a unpaid bill from last November 2016 and the garage told me on the phone to go and find some body else as they will not be doing anymore recovery's for MCE and the garage name is ANGUS LAMBIE GARAGE, BRODICK , ISLE OF ARRAN NORTH AYRSHIRE SCOTLAND so saying that this does give me much confidence if I break down.”

“According to the operator, all the insurances are ruled in the same way so the general feedback for this and any other insurance company in this country is just that the system is crazy! I filled in all the info myself in the online website and just needed to correct two details: I had to pass through the full interview with the operator, telling again everything that I had already uploaded via their website. So why to use the website and receiving a reference number if that info cannot be used by the operator on the phone?”

“Where did I say they made me happy? I didn't I said they were acceptable. Also the email said how was the customer service received today? I didn't receive any customer service today! My Insurance started today but that was sorted weeks ago. However you still phoned to ask about bike insurance after that.”

“They contacted me with my renewal as I had already had my bike insured with them, The new quote was twice as much as the year before so I decided to go online and do a compare quote on a price comparison site and strangely enough the best quote was mce and for exactly the same cover was now half the original quote, I feel they should do their best to give the best price to existing customers. I Phoned them up and all of a sudden once I told them what I had done they managed to drop the price by £120 Come on mce play fair you should offer the best to your existing customers not make them go hunting”

“Quotes are super cheap but when I called up suddenly my online quote went up by £50 which was clearly a commission someone tried to earn... after demanding to speak with a Manager it was brought back down to my original online quote. Not a fair move from the Team!”

“Good price, helpful staff, -BUT- policys now up for renewal & they want to offer me a policy but cant as im no longer a convicted driver, so they want to pass me to another ' trusted' company.. fine.. said 'trusted company' werent able to offer me a policy, for no reason. (Iv since gone with aviva, for a great price) MCE persist on ringing me every night, have done for two weeks even though iv told them not to, and they keep trying ask to pass me onto another company, that doesnt want my money. Pain in the bloody arse”

“I have no problems with my policy or the contents of the policy the problem i have is getting hold of my documents from mce, i pay for full comprehensive and pay the full amount (which is taken straight away) every year for the last three years now around the 15th February and can't get hold of them until the day of the policy expiry date 7th March, it takes about three to four phone calls within that time i don't think this is acceptable if this happens again next year i think i will be going to another insurance company. It took one very nice lady Sharon Thurlow who couldn't see what the problem was two seconds to send me my documents.”

“Mcn call system hardware has no real volume control, to renew my policy they just shouted The same questions , since mce was sold its service to customers has dropped as the Quest to increase profit margins, I breakdown policy is a joke, I phoned up by the Side of a busy motorway, and was told I had pay £70 to be picked up bad service, No cares just profit. Still cheap insurance, I go to many bike events and always Pass on the shit service I get. What do you expect it's cheap shit”
