quite difficult to renew my policy dew of constant glitches In MCE sistem .It also happened last year when I took out my first policy with them.I solved the problem with an operator on the phone who was able to renew the policy but after a couple of attempts. I strongly advise the web technicians of MCE to solve the problem on the portal as soon as possible.

Tried to insure company bike. On certificate it showed me as policyholder. Immediately rang customer service and spoken to guy for an hour to change it for company name. Been told that I need to buy another policy then cancell current one or I will pay about 90£ in charges. Made 2nd phone call and spoken to Lady who sorted out everything in 5 mins.

Unable to speak to anyone and no one available to 'chat'. Still waiting for return email to reset my password which was only just set, and definitely not incorrectly entered.

Taking out the insurance was easy and the price was attractive. I have been unable to register and get a copy of my policy documents.

Web site is poor don't do quotes over phone is bed In my opinion and well otherwise 👍

The price you offered was good, BUT iv been hearing a lot of bad things about MCE lately and I hope they are not true! Only time will tell. I know you have a new underwriter too for new policy’s but this shouldn’t have happened in the first place with MCE. If something happens to me or my bike and I don’t get the promises and service you make going forward I will have no option but to let the biking community know how I was treated. And that will hurt MCE going forward!

I used a well known comparison site. Price and add-ons were ok. I don't like talking to "real" people for quotes etc as they seem to want to up the prices so I was happy that all the stuff I wanted could be done online. Only snag was error message to get into my portal which I don't really need it as all documentation was emailed over to me. No real hassle but no more or less than any others I've used previously for bikes or cars.

The process of obtaining a quote was reasonably straightforward, no better or worse than most other online insurance sites I have visited. However, I couldn't find any way to save a quote and, most annoyingly, I couldn't find the immobiliser fitted to my 2016 Triumph Explorer in the VERY long list of immobilisers in the security drop-down. I spoke to Triumph customer services who said that this was a recurring problem with insurance companies even though Triumph advises the insurance companies which immobilisers are fitted to their bikes.

First. you use call centres witch are very unhelpful Second. you get even different phone numbers to call you but at the end you get the same call line as each other Therd. each time I did get through to talk to some one regarding an issue with my policy no one wanted to help just past me on to another phone number again queuing to get the same measage from the next operator, Thorth. A rediculas time waiting in ques to talk to an operator Do really you are lucky to get three stars as I have other issues with your service.

Online chat-rubbish Had a human call me, didn’t listen to a word I said. Hope I’ll never have to make a claim as I fear it would be a farce!

The actual insurance service provided was excellent. However, dealing with the representative on the phone was very, very difficult. The lady I was speaking to had a very strong accent which was complicated by a very poor signal at her end which distorted her speech further. MCE need to invest in higher quality telephones for their staff.

1hr 20 mins before any one answered. This was only to renew a policy. Shoukd be a team deals with renewals and take payment without this wait time. Quicker to put in details online and get a new quote

Look the renewal was eventually dealt with yesterday and renewed but I wanted to change my address and I was charged £17 for the pleasure and my policy would have ran out 5 days later. Most other insurance companies I have been with over the years wouldn’t have charged you for changing my home address as it was so close to the renewal date. The other point is I was put through to 3 different people for my renewal, the first two as had been said English was not their first language and the found it hard to understand me, thank god for the third guy Billy who dealt with and understood me very easily. Job done, but between the 3 people I had to deal with I was on the phone for the best part of 2 hours on hold most of the time NOT GOOD MCE! and dealing with the first two guys was VERY STRESSFUL! Over all not a good experience and I think 3 stars I have given has been quite generous.

Got insurance sorted no problem but being transferred to 3 different people and kept having to wait for an hour listening to music was a bit poor.....

I rang to renew a lapsed policy (7 days overdue) and spent nearly an hour on the phone. The first person put me through to renewals despite me saying the policy had lapsed and needed changes. I was on hold for about 5 or 10 minutes before Renewals answered. I then spent 15 minutes going in circles as the lady said she couldn't make any changes as the policy had lapsed. I explained I knew this and could she put me through to someone who could help. She then put me on hold while she went and spoke to her supervisor and eventually transferred me. I was then on hold for at least another 20 minutes. Once through to New Policy Sales, things were resolved quickly.

I've read other reviews and had same issues.. made 2 phone calls over 20 minutes each on the second got through but line was breaking up and had trouble understanding the person on the other end! In the end I didn't renew.. I took out a brand new policy which cost me more! Not impressed but MCE is good motorcycle insurance company they just need to sort out this call centre malarkey

I tried 3 times to get confirmation on what was being covered. The representatives didn’t understand what I was asking. So I tried the “Live Chat” Michelle came into the chat but didn’t respond at all. I tried ringing again 4 times and whilst on hold for 20 mins each time. I then tried later and managed to speak to a chap. He wasn’t prepared to answer my (simple question) we have to go through the whole process again. He seemed that he would not move from the script. I was totally unimpressed with the service.
