The price is good, but the verification process feels very intrusive and clunky.

there is a difference online versus phone. online - easy, self explanatory and very competitive. i almost would say 5 star; phone - impossible - dont answer their phone (not sure if Corona related or not), and when you get through they need to connect you to the next person. Impossible. I got the online quote, but scared to think if i had a claim how impossible this will be to deal with.

Price great validation via app can’t access been trying to call after no help from web chat 40 mins call not answered 40 mins again call not answered emailed no reply yet let’s see if u want my custom or not

Had nothing but trouble trying to pay for my insurance online (failed about 3 times after having to fill in all of the details each time). And then when I rang, was on hold for 20 minutes before I decided to hang up. However, the online chat was answered instantly and a call back was arranged. Once I received the call and paid over the phone, the transaction went quickly and without any delays. Good price as well. Only marked down for all the fooking about I had to do in the first place, but the rest of the service was great.

Clicked through from Comparethemarket.com to pay as the quote was cheapest by some margin, however, the payment process failed and left me with a blank screen. As I was wanting to ride the bike away immediately, I called the telephone number to check, the voice-recording said they were open and I selected the correct option for new sales. I was then on hold for 25 mins (with the seller waiting!) until I tried the on-line chat and was then told that "Sales are not in on Sundays" and the online agent could not help! In the end, I had to start a new quote from scratch directly on the MCE website and then finally managed to pay the premium. All-in-all, it took about 90 mins of messing about to do what should have taken 5 mins! Not a good first impression...

Yeah ok. Not so great. Couldn't pay on the website, every time I tried it crashed after inputting card details. Called up and the guy with an Arkansas accent wasn't overly helpful. Wouldn't let me do it over the phone then took ages for documents to come through. Cheapest though so...pay peanuts and all that.

Y pop I haven’t sent me an email confirming my insurance details which I think is a bit problematic? Luckily I took a screen shot of my number before I closed the page or I would have no way of knowing my insurance details

A real pain waiting on the phone, also having to go through all your details again for renewal when everything is the same from previous year, no changes. But fairly happy with renewal quote, so insured with them again.

Getting through to anyone is a proper pain in the arse. Once you’re through and speaking to a human then they are reasonably good.

Well it took me 5 pjone calls, each taking 45 minutes to an hour to get through. I've been a loyal customer for the last few years, I paid over £550 for my renewal as I wanted to stay loyal, only to find out I could have had my insurance for over £200 cheaper if only I had compared prices before I bought it. Will be checking next time, customer service was good thought H

Well, it’s too early to really tell how MCE have been. I’ve only just arranged my motorbike insurance with them, but in terms of getting that done - it was fairly easy and straightforward. The price quoted was cheaper than almost all the others, so in that respect - very good. Hopefully, should I need it, everything else will be as simple and straightforward!

Insured my bike for the 1st year with MCE through compare the market (very competitive), when the renewal was due had an email/quote from compare the market for £350 through MCE when I phoned MCE they wanted £550 for the year!!! Just went back to compare the market and got it for £350 online

MCE insurance Should you have the need to contact this company by telephone expect to be on hold for NO LESS than 22 minutes prices are reasonable, staff are polite

After nearly 2 weeks of trying to get to speak to somebody and then when finally getting through only to be greeted very abruptly the service was good .
