The price wasn't fair, I have been the customer since 2018 and my last renewal I haven't got any bonus, the price remained the same.

Do not use them avoid! Appalling customer service, total lack of empathy to their customers. Website is useless kept crashing and when I eventually managed to pay it said my payment had been declined. So many calls later and a large phone bill I eventually found my payment had been accepted. AVOID!

Only got one star as was the cheapest at time of quote and that went OK, however having sold my bike and having 7 months left to run on the policy thought I would cancel. Initially rang and was on hold for 20 minutes so used the online portal and asked when was the best time to call, response was calls are waiting for an hour and she couldn't cancel online, wouldn't do a call back based on giving her my number just told me to wait. Rang back again and was on hold for 35 minutes. Agent cancelled my policy but then said there wouldn't be a refund! Never in my life have I come across this as a process. Glad I found out how bad they are this way rather than a claims process as suspect they would not have been the best. Ridiculous customer service and would avoid using again!

Having never claimed in all my years riding I cannot judge mce on that procedure, my only complaint is that after years of being a loyal customer they keep pushing the price up, this year 2020 by £60 approx , appalling behaviour , loyalty goes both ways, good bye mce, hello Carol Nash £90 less, thanks to MCN compare.

Tried to renew on-line but, after quite some time getting and filling in all the details required (why oh why couldn't most of the data fields have been pre-populated given that this was a renewal rather than a new quote?), the website then would not take payment notwithstanding numerous efforts. I then got an email from MCE with last year's policy documents attached but no confirmation of renewal this year (nothing on the screen to suggest successful renewal or that payment taken). I then spent 30+ minutes on hold to speak to someone who said that payment had gone through but that he could not get a new confirmation email sent to me with the correct documents. He put me through to customer services, so I had another 30 minute wait before I gave up. The price was good (less than last year) but the service was terrible. Excuse given was the pandemic but businesses have had a long time to sort their procedures out (it's almost August now). Quite frankly this was a waste of 2+ hours of my time and extremely frustrating. I would happily pay more to get better service (any service!).

So frustrating trying to renew a policy. Both my husband and I have found their website won't process payments from Barclaycard so we needed to renew over the phone. The policy summary on the quote was incorrect so their American call centre was unable to simply process the payment, 4 attempts (on hold > 20 mins each time) later (gave up with live chat, it was chronically slow), I managed to get through to a member of the sales team who processed my payment. Still very unclear whether track days are actually covered, it seems to get more vague in the T&C's each year. I am assured by the sales person it is, but.......?

Bloody appalling! Trying to amend my policy. After eventually getting through; I found myself speaking to someone who’s level of English was rudimentary at best, I was then put on hold whilst customer advisor was found. I’m still on hold NOW

very expensive...food delivery insùrance even with 4 yrs no claims..no competition at the moment so they can rip off clients.

Took out insurance policy 1st of January said I was insured using there app spoke to lady on the phone saying to me I was insured as I am doing the knowledge got a court summings for no insurance as it didn’t start till end of month absolute joke of a company takes ages to get threw to anyone don’t want to help and due to this I will be loosing my liscence for there stupid error....... DO NOT USE

I still haven’t received any of my insurance documents or at least confirmation of my policy via email despite paying for my insurance over 2 weeks ago

I wanted to pay one lump sum for my renewal for the year but no option and ended up paying around 30% extra for only being able to pay by instalments. Totally cheated out of a large sum of money. My competitive renewal price turned out to be an expensive mistake...beware.

Tried to amend my insurance on line, said I had to do it over the phone. Waited 45min still no answer! Hung up. Won't be using them again, if they can't contact them, what do you do in the event of a claim. ?
