forty minutes waiting for customer service and then charged £62 to cancel policy won't use them again😖

No payment plan set up,got given wrong number to rectify, took 4 days to finaly get through to be told I had to cancel the policy and start again so 3 months of the no claims bonus has gone

MCE asked me to renew online, they said they did not recognise the registration number of my bike even though they've insured it for 4 years and to ring this number, after waiting 51 minutes, they quoted £50 more than last year (no claims made) went on comparison site and realised MCE would provide for less on that site, but I found it cheaper with another company, when I got my phone bill the number they asked me to ring cost me £37, I e mailed them but no response. Ripped off! Avoid this company!!!!

Not a very helpful team,after lots of attempts to down load the documents ie useing my email address and post code still can’t print them .i won’t be back to this mce next year,

Having had insurance off you for numerous years was utterly disappointed on this years service. Having made a new renewal on line with what was a competitive quote contacted you to take this out. However when speaking on the phone to the Phillippines having had another quote off them to proceed i said no as it was and extra 5 pounds. The operator then said he would put me back through to England were i could get another quote. Having then spent another 30 minutes on the phone to another operator and giving him me reference number for my quote he then wanted to charge me even more. My quote went from 123 pounds to 128 pounds to 148 pounds within 40 minutes. Having said to the operator on the phone how can that be in the spate of 40 minutes it increases 25 pounds, he replied well thats what it is . I went back on line and got the 123 pounds quote, only to find that your computer had transferred all the information correctly other than the day i passed my license, believe me the information was correct from my side as it was triple checked. Having contacted the Philippines again the operator said they would change it and it would take 5 days. That has long passed and i am now waiting fort to be changed after having sent you an email with the request. I will not hold my breath at this point though.

Hi , you are not responding customers with honest and sincerely ,not giving importance what customers expected,Not pick up phone for almost an hour or more. I am Not happy at all with your services thanks

I need a paper copy. After several 15 minute attempts on the phone l gave up. Got through on live chat only to be told they wouldn't help. Not the service l expect.

Entered incorrect information in sourcing system which ended up in higher quote but not realising bought the policy. Then realised what I had done . When I tried to cancel policy (only 30 minutes later) I was told the fee for cancelling was 75% of the policy cost . Not happy

After cancelling the policy after 3 months the brokers fees and admin fees no refunds due. 80 minutes waiting on phone for response across two phone calls. You won’t get my business again.

I took a call this afternoon from MCE insurance advising that due to a technical issue, the direct debit payments I set up were not processed. I was reluctant to give my bank details to someone calling me who might not have been an MCE representative and I agreed to call MCE customer service to fix the issue. When I did that, I was placed on hold for ages so I sent a chat message explaining the situation. The person wko responded to the chat told me that they are short staffed and that there is no good time to call to get hold of someone but that I can't sort this out any other way than by telephone. Absolutely dreadful service and I am now looking for an alternative insurer.

So far over three days I’ve been put on hold for over 2.5 hours and when finally get through my insurance seems to have gone up by double since last year that’s including another years NCB

Good price but that's about it, you can waste many hours trying to get through on phone, portal is also incredibly slow , online chat is next to useless. As I said good price but rubbish service, just hope I never need to claim.

Not impressed to be honest. I've been waiting three days for my email confirmation to login to get my insurance documents. Can't get through to customer services at all as I need these documents to apply for permit parking outside my house. Its fair to say I won't be recommending you!

At the end of the application, a window appeared saying my card payment had been declined. I wasn't able to retrieve my application form on line so I telephoned the given number. Eventually the call was answered and a lady informed me the payment had been received but she needed to put me through to a colleague. I was put on hold and gave up waiting after 40 minutes. I received an email indicating I was insured but had to register to get hold of the policy. The link didn't work. I called the number again. It didn't work (number not recognised message). I tried the on line chat and immediately got a response. I was sent another email with a link. I submitted the information and am still waiting for the necessary email response to give me a means of accessing the policy. The person "chatting" on line gave up when I informed them it hadn't been successful. I don't think I've been scammed but I still am unsure if I have valid insurance and if so and needed to claim, I can only imagine how impossible that might be. I guess you get what you pay for and they offered the lowest price. Lesson re-learnt!

Possibly the worse customer service i have ever experienced, been trying for 3 days, over 3 hours on the phone trying to talk to a call centre who do not understand a thing about bikes or insurance. Banging my head against the wall

Price was reasonable. Took an age to answer the phone to get refunded my mispayments. I tried to purchase the policy online. However my payment said it couldn’t process despite be directed to my banks security questions, to which i answered. I done this a number of times and got charged 5 times despite it saying it couldn't process. I have been refunded. MCE needs to employ a better IT support team. Questionable service when you come to claim. Just search on facebook. Never again.

Could not do online was advised to call, no answer in 4 times of calling, lasted over 20 mins each time, online chat asked for call back 3 times no call back asked again the last time after my insurance had run out and advised if no return ill seak alternative insurance promted a responce, realy not good
