Paid in full for insurance, a week later and no policy documents either by post or email. Calling to sort it out is taking forever. Taking the edge off my son's first motorcycle experience in fear of being stopped and unable to produce insurance.

I havent received any paperwork to confirm my insurance I had to do live chat and receive my policy number from a colleague and also get them to confirm my bike was insured and take pictures incase anything happened

Although they were the cheapest. I did everything online as this was the advice given by MCE. Once i followed the steps to renew my policy i was then informed i had to call MCE to complete my renewal. Ive had no change of address, no claims, no change of bike and pay in full each year so why do you ask me to call in?....its because the number they give you is a premium number when calling from a mobile and that call cost me £21 Not renewing again even if they are cheapest. Pretty sure the regulators will want to look into this.

Been using MCE for the last 12/13years. My last multi-bike policy they forgot to update the insurance database resulting in me being pulled over by the police and almost having my bike impounded. I Took out a new policy 3days ago, again insurance database not updated and my documents not emailed over to me! Sort it out! Other companies are similar on price, maybe it's time to consider a change.

Took ages for someone to answer the phone; then got transferred twice and now 24hrs later I haven't got any insurance documents.

Tried to renew my policy. MCE don't tell you what your new premium will be so you have to go through the whole rigmarole of getting a new quote. Having got the quote I tried to pay and after entering my card details it said transaction hadn't gone through. The same thing happened last year but it transpired the transaction had in fact gone through (I found out when I checked my card statement). So I waited a couple of days but nothing came through on my card statement. I tried ringing to complete the payment but gave up after an hour on hold. Eventually I managed to pay by ringing a different option - call centre in Asia somewhere who didn't seem to know what they were doing but did eventually take my payment although by that time it was more than the quote I had. Live Chat was useless by the way.

Trying to get through to MCE was a painful experience. No one answers the phone! Made 3 calls to try and get through to them all with the message " one of our operative will answer you call shortly, thank you for holding. I called on my mobile. . No notification it was a premium line number. Looked at my phone bill the other day. . £25 charge for trying to get through to them. That's now on top of what I payed for the insurance. NOT HAPPY!!!! I did try the live chat before calling on the second on hold call, but they seemed lacking in knowledge for the question I needed answering so had to call a third time and just wait on hold for someone to put their coffee down and answer a call. After getting my insurance and paying for it I waited for confirmation by email and the policy they said they would send. . . Nothing! Had to go on live chat and ask for it to be sent. Then received the email with everything while on live chat. The whole experience was frustrating and painful and puts me off from contacting them again as it's firstly going to cost a fortune and the operatives don't sound like they are particularly interested in selling you the insurance anyway.

Renewed my insurance with you 5DAYS AGO & today i get 4 bloody emails saying my policy has elapsed & would i like to come back! Very amateurish!! SORT YOUR AUTO REPLIES & DEPARTMENTS OUT!

I’ve been with you for years now, I’ve never had a claim 32 years motorcycling , I’ve got max no claims yet my premium has gone up from £419.85 to £581.41 it’s ridiculous. I won’t stay with you next year that’s for sure.

Brilliant sales service, really excellent, had to cancel policy less than 24hours in as my bike hasn't turnt ulas I've been scammed, was shocked it cost me over £63 to cancel policy with no fault of myself, no humanity at all, real shame, but will use you to insure my next bike, chris wall

I was with Mce for last 4 years and I needed to Renew my policy, i had an email to remind me about renewal and had an option for quote which it came to £225.I rang and spoke to a rude male staff which his attitude was if you don’t stay with us I will have 1 less customer to deal with and told me renewal would cost £250. I’m glad he put me off by asking me more as I got exactly same cover for £180 somewhere else. It’s a shame some staff don’t care about loosing customer...
