My dad brought his insurance quote online he rode the bike back and he rang later on to make sure everything was right only to find out that your insurance put the wrong registration plate on

Fever, cough (with sputum production), cough (without sputum production),lethargy, headache, feeling "groggy", gastro problems, chillblains, covid toe, skin conditions, sore throat, chills, muscle pain, loss of taste & smell, Kawasaki like symptoms in children, diarrhoea,conjunctivitis, loss of speech or movement,difficulty breathing or shortness of breath,chest pain or pressure, I have probably missed a few, more, no doubt will be added over time.

Refuses to offer any kind of refund or payment freeze during a global pandemic. Have had to cancel my policy as I can't afford my payments and they're unwilling to hell out for a few months. Disgusting company with a greedy attitude.

Lucky you got one star. Was going to renew but had to go through all the questions again instead of just updating info you all ready had Then problems with payment online at your end. All in all gone somewhere else for two pound extra.

Got this insurance as it was the best quote, should have know if it’s sounds too good to be true it usually is. Just put a claim in thinking a £250 excess was agreed now been notified that I need to pay £1,350 excess!!!! This appears to have been written in the small print and I was not notified or made aware ahead of a claim. Ok if you never need to make a claim not so good if you do. Will be reporting to trading standards as hide this excess in small print and don’t make you aware until a claim is made.

This company is a disgrace. I've been trying to retrieve my excess from them after an accident with their customer. 3w months on and despite numerous phone calls and emails from myself and my own insurer and broker I have had no response from them whatsoever. I've rung up £40 in phone charges only to get passed from pillar to post and end up with a recorded message saying to email them, which I have and still no reply. Frustrated beyond belief, next step financial ombudsman.

Just a warning to all those that give MCE 5 stars. I'm now not currently insured with MCE as I have changed insurers for my bike. A good insurer can ONLY be judged on their record of offering good customer relations, and settling claims promptly and satisfactorily. Regarding those points, I strongly advise everyone to read the reviews on this company before entering into a contract with them.

Claims handling is very poor. Your call goes through to a call centre somewhere in Asia and they have no direct contact with the UK office. You have to make your enquiry and then someone phones you back from Asia a couple of hours later with no answer to your enquiry! Claims drag on and on and you make call after call. Never again.

Failed to renew a second bike on the policy anniversary. Blamed me for not amending the renew on line. Initially claimed they had never insured the vehicle. When I identified the premium paid they confirmed they had indeed insured it. Had to go through the entire new policy process. The premiums are low but the excess is v high. cost of fine £50 cost of policy amendment again £40..... not good.

re mortgage your house to pay excess cheap insurance high excess so you won't claim.

Have bike insurance with them. Will not be renewing in a few months. Terrible company, full of o.t.t.extras when you make a small change. Cheapest quote to reel you in. Go elsewhere or regret it.

Do not make the mistake of trying to ring this companys car insurance as not only will they keep you waiting for ages but charge you a premium rate for the pleasure my £10 limit was eaten up very quickly

So these complete clowns have now been sitting on my claim for over 3 weeks without authorising repairs to my vehicle caused by THEIR client. If you try to contact them they will either cut you off or route you to a different department...then cut you off. If I did my job as incompetently as they do theirs then I'd be fired. Absolute disgrace and a complete joke of a company. On the plus side I am using an accident management company who have given me a like for like car but in my case have very kindly upgraded. Well MCE, take my repair bill and add £220 a day for BMW 640d (now up to 21 days). Ouch...and all because you are not professional enough to pull your finger out.

Insurance company ignored the fact I was in hospital with a spinal injury and ended my insurance when I came out of hospital and still charged 30 pound extra each month when I was unable to move. Had no contact for 6 months after accident and still have not sorted the claim situation. Terrible service do not insure with this company.

“The worst customer service ever” As being a foreigner in England they were absolutely disgraceful with my colleague. It shows they have never lived abroad and have NO idea how hard it is to make an insurance on the phone. They were not helpful at all, didn’t acknowledge the emails he sent!! It was easier to just cancel the whole policy and the end they charged him £64.00 for cancellation Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!!!
