“I was very disappointed to learn that my motorcycle cover did not extend to my brother who was travelling from Canada for a visit,I needed him covered on my insurance but was told that because he lived outside the UK he could not be covered”

“My call on July 4 was a bit of a disappointing experience. The advisor sounded as though he was eating while speaking and sounded like he was belching. Also the price was £12 dearer than the Internet price with no proper explanation given? The advisor requires feedback.”

“Third party put a claim against me that was clearly not based on true statement. Left MCE and claim is still outstanding. MCE Claims are not picking up their phones or responding to my emails. CLOWNS.”

“Although my 3 bike insurance policy was renewed OK, the huge increase in premium was not acceptable £217 in 2016 to £330 in 2017, I have been with MCE for a number of years & have always had a good policy & very competetive premiums, whereby having stayed with the company even when a I incurred a small premium increase for a speeding offence. So I had to reduce the value of all 3 machines to get to an acceptable premium £260 still an increase of £43. I have never made a claim on motor insurance in my life. I believe customers like myself with my excellent history should be rewarded, so that you don't lose a valuable asset ME.”

“not impressed, I phoned to change a bike on my multi policy with less than a month to run on my existing policy and was advised that I could have an early renewal which I went for. When I was sent my new insurance documents through I found that I had been given an early renewal but the new policy had been dated from that day meaning I lost almost 4 weeks from my old policy. It took best part of 1 hour on the phone for you to get it wrong so I haven't phoned to complain but will not be renewing next year.”

“I think I was provided with a fair and affordable quote which allowed me to stay with MCE for another year. You were not the cheapest by any means however as a keen BSB fan I was happy to pay the additional money knowing that I will enjoy the benefits of being a MCE member on race weekends. The one thing I did find strange is that I got a cheaper quote going through a third party i.e. "compare the meerkat.com" than when I called and got a quote directly?? Surely you should be offering the best quotes to your customers directly!”

“Cheap insurance, which was great and nobody takes out insurance expecting to claim. My bike was stolen 2 months ago and MCE have done everything possible to delay paying. The latest is asking for documentation that I sent last week recorded delivery. I've sent them the details of who signed for the parcel. Nightmare to deal with, on hold for ages.”
