Unfortunately these reviews had not been read prior to purchasing this company's van insurance. Having stated the approximate mileage that will be driven in the forthcoming year it was noted when checking the policy documents, without extending the basic common courtesy of a 'phone call or email this company had totally disregarded the figure quoted and had increased the mileage and obviously the premiums accordingly, something in all my years of driving have never experienced before. I absolutely detest my integrity being called into question. Furthermore, no other insurance company has ever asked for proof of ownership of any vehicle previously owned. All in all I'm now beginning to have very serious doubts about this company and its modus operandi. Hopefully, their services will not be called upon to resolve a claim in the forthcoming year.

Sold my vehicle, wanted to cancel my insurance, 4 months remaining, expected quick phone call and a small refund. Was told there is no refund and a cancellation fee of £75, and how would I like to pay?. Apparently in the terms (that no one reads) Avoid this company at all costs.... Even 1 star is too much. Feel like I have sh!t on my shoes.

Once again another fraudulent company, received quote from confused.com, they were a few pound cheaper for a classic car policy, went with them, to be then texted and emailed requesting more information, then we get a cancellation letter stating, they don’t insure recent purchased vehicles, have you ever heard anything so pathetic, we phoned. The guy on the phone then saying we have to pay a cancellation fee, we advised that they had all the information when we purchased the insurance so why take our monies to then say we don’t insure you. We have escalated it and guess what the manager hasn’t called us back, we have raised a complaint with confused.com and premium credit who are handling the DD payments. , upon looking on here, they are constantly scamming people with these cons, What gets us so angry is that people like confused.com are allowing these THEIVES to operate out of their backyard and taking a commission for it. QUOTELINEDIRECT are no better than those fraudsters that steal money out of a old ladies purse when she isn’t looking. How the staff can morally go to work each day knowing they are ripping people off , beggars belief. I am reporting these to my local training standards and the trading standards where they are based. WHAT EVER YOU DO PEOPLE DO NOT USE THESE YOU WILL REGRET IT.

A bunch of con artists. Trying to cancel my policy and on phone for hours. When I finally got through they told me it was the wrong dept and they would put me through. Another 45 mins on hold before I gave up. Cannot find an email or number to call. Cowboys.

"Cheap insurance provider for sure but din't cancel a policy with them as you will be charged. I did this , it would have been better if I let the policy expire when I sold my vehicle as I would have saved myself around forty pound which they charged me for cancelling early."

Impossible to get hold of. They are quick to take your premium but will not respond to ph9ne calls or emails when you want to cancel. FIVE hours on the phone and 4 separate emails over the space of a week, still no response. Bloody awful - avoid like Covid.

Phoned numerous times during working hours and got recorded message saying they were closed but message went on to say they are open till 7pm 3 hours later than I was calling, got same thing on complaints number, website says try our live chat service, but they don't have one. Sent email to complaints dept, never got a reply. All this was because I simply wanted to change the car on my policy. When I did finally get hold of a very indifferent person the following day I immediately cancelled my policy, they didn't seem to care. My advice would be, even if they are the cheapest quote you get, avoid at all costs.

Thieves. Cowboys and scammers. I echo what everyone else says. Not answering phone. Not giving refunds. No answer to emails. Sending texts for National insurance number. Driving licence. Copy of utility bill. All to be uploaded to a portal. My policy hadn’t started so I cancelled it immediately. Only for them not to return my annual premium. Water an hour a day for a week trying to get in contact. Rubbish. Scammers I contacted by phone and email. Was ignored.

Watch out. There is a cancellation fee. They like to stick it to customers. Stick with a known company. Not these cowboys. For god sake they triple a quote. And if you leave in mid year they’ll stick you with a cancellation fee and all sorts. Hopefully they won’t last.

Where do i start, doubling the premium when you finally get to speak to someone.Trying to use there website which is designed to make life as difficult as possible for you & looks like a 10 year old has developed it. Customer service agents who are not interested in dealing with any problems or complaints, a fee of £50 to cancel the policy & upto 60 days for a refund !.These crooks should be on watchdog absolute shambles of a company

I have used Quoteline Direct before for various policies and had no problem with them. That was until yesterday. I purchased a new vehicle so had to update existing policy with them. After an hour and a half trying to get through on phone, they informed me that my premium had more than doubled and if I wanted to leave I would have to face charges! On this occasion I have no other option other than staying with them but I feel very ripped off and as a result I shall be taking my custom elsewhere in future and shall not be recommending them to friends & family as I once would have. Quoteline Direct do yourselves a favour, reward loyal customers with FAIR premiums not RIP OFF ones!,

Cancelled my insurance without reviewing documents that they requested. This company has hundreds of complaints against them for malpractise and dodgy ethics. They come up as one of the cheapest insurance companies on most of the compare websites, then you start receiving emails to upload all kinds of documents, V5C, Proof of SORN, proof of previous insurance, proof of tax, explanations for XYZ and you can't upload onto their platform as the platform doesn't work. They then ask you to send them via email and they don't respond. I paid 12 months upfront and they have just cancelled my van policy after 4 weeks.

Received an email from this company to say my insurance was being cancelled. Never had the misfortune of hearing their name till now and when I contacted my actual insurer they confirmed that my policy is still very much active and secure. SCAMMERS AND LIARS DO NOT USE
