Absolutely diabolical customer service. one hour 40 minutes on the phone and cut me off. Cannot contact complaints. Threatening letter when they cannot do their job properly. I have wasted 4 hours of my life trying to resolve an issue. JUST TRIED THE CHAT AGAIN... ANOTHER 30 MINUTE WAIT WHO THE HELL IS THEIR C.E.O?????

Would have been year 3 for motor insurance, no claims so can’t comment on how they deal with claims but if their customer service is anything to go by I can see why people are leaving in droves. I have received my renewal which has risen by 2/3rds, I was expecting it as I had been informed by a relative that all costs had risen. As my maintenance contract had come to an end (which included breakdown cover) I wanted to add breakdown cover to my renewal. After the half hour wait for a rep to join the chat I was informed that if I wanted to change my policy I would have to cancel this renewal (due to start 28.01.24) and buy a new policy. I ended up comparing a meerkat and got a different provider for £20 cheaper including upgraded breakdown (homestart, onward travel etc). Like many of the other reviewers I too will not be returning to Sheila’s Wheels. Appalling customer service.

Worse company ever do not go there people disgraceful customer services and cannot contact them has been 6 months since claim that was not my fault drunk driver wrote car off whilst in bed and he was arrested but they are saying its my fault get a grip company AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Have tried multiple times over the last week to contact Sheila's Wheels by phone - on most occasions trying for between 30 and 50 minutes without getting through. I have been trying to contact them about an existing claim. No facility on website to do what I need to do; live chat directs me to call them; and an email to customer services advises me to call them. Won't be renewing with them again. I very rarely leave reviews - only if exceptionally good or poor service. This was clearly VERY poor customer service. I WILL NOT BE USING AGAIN!

At renewal time they did the usual of increasing the cost of the policy by £200. I phoned them and they said they could not do a better price so I found a better deal and cancelled. However, on their annoying website it is actually impossible to turn off auto-renew so they have you locked in forever! You cannot cancel either you have to ring up and wait in a long queue to speak to a 'customer advisor'. This is clearly an off-shore call centre probably in India. I was then assure that my policy would be cancelled only to find a few weeks later that they had sent two e-mails thanking me for renewing! When I went to confirm cancellation again online, which technically I should not have been able to access since I was no longer a customer I could not. A lengthy wait for India again, then I was transferred to a real customer advisor after an even longer wait who told me that she could not cancel my policy as it might trigger a refund and I was to check my bank account in case the money went out and then get back to them if it did! Does anyone at Sheila's Wheels have any control over customers policies or does it just continue to auto generate revenue regardless of customer wishes.? Finally I was told I could not complain as I had nothing to complain about and she refused to give me a Managers name or contact! Unbelievable. Avoid unless you want to be trapped in their auto renew website for ever.

Worse ever insurance company! I warn people to think twice before joining this substandard insuarance company! If you live in London and have an accident, god help you with thier garage AutoTech Slough Limited which yet another extremely substandard repair garage. So be warned ⚠️ Their substandard garage left out my wheel Arch protector and now my lights are now damaged.

Cannot provide a written statement of truth, faulty link. Tried calling and asked to give a statement, but I'm telephobic so this is not easy. Also struggling with a bad line and the accent of the call centre worker.

Useless Customer Service! After many years with Sheilas’ Wheels it's time to go elsewhere. Customer service is now non exsistent...you can no longer speak with a human and endless attempts to ring them are met with phone delays in excess of 1 hour, without them making any attempt to connect you. The only option is for a live chat connection and it’s always 30 minutes before you are connected. Once connected (after 3 attempts!!) they are unable to sort the issues...a total waste of time. Whoever it was in Sheilas’ Wheels who thought live chat was the way forward are greatly mistaken ...hopefully enough customers will leave them so they will reconsider this abysmal service.

I had a terrible experience with this insurance company. I had an accident last year, I did the claim the same day to avoid delays. The way Sheila’s Wheels dealt with it was terrible. The webpage didn’t work most of the time, if I called I had to wait for hours to get response. It was very chaotic that basically I had to ring several times to know if I could get a courtesy car or to check for updates on the claim. I sent an email to ask for an update and I received a call weeks later; they said that the case was closed and the person asked me if I was informed about this. It sounded like a joke!! Then they informed me that it wasn’t my fault but in the webpage the status is still blank. ( this claim was done in September last year) Now as I paid £100 excess, they told me that I had to contact directly the insurance company of the other person involved to claim the money back. Apparently for them to do something I needed to pay legal protection. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.PLEASE AVOID!!!

Well where do I begin Absolutely Awful customer service Sent me Link For My Statement Of Truth I cannot open link I have 30 day's to respond if not Apparently they will pay the Third Party I've Cctv proviing I'm Definitely not at Fault However seems they are gonna pay. WILL DEFINITELY BE CANCELLING MY COVER.

Sheilas Wheels want a statement truth but the link they send does not work. I have spent hours on the phone waiting to speak to someone to no avail. After 8 days and over nine 1hr+ long calls that eventually get cut off, I finally get through to someone and they're unable to help. They eventually put me on hold and cut me off after an hour. I am desperately trying to cancel this policy but it's not even possible to do that because nobody picks up the phone!

Impossible to speak to anyone in person and been holding on for live chat 12 minutes and counting. Have phoned twice and spoken to South African staff who are not authorized to discuss renewal quotes. So only option is to not renew. My experience in contacting them twice this year re moving address and changing car losing the will to live. Customer service is non existent. They obviously don’t want customers bothering them but think it’s okay for customers to spend hours of our time trying. Leave well alone

I had an accident on Tuesday an guy drove into the side of me he didn't indicate to turn right and as I overtook him he decided to turn right into my path. He denied he didn't indicate although he said he hadn't seen me ! I put it to him by saying that fact he has admitted liability as he clearly didn't check his mirrors before he made his manoeuvre . I contacted shelias wheels ,and they told me they would send a link to upload my photos of the damage, I checked they had my new correct email on their system. Yes it was confirmed, however no email arrived. I spent two and a half hours on the phone and gave up. I eventually got through later on after another 45 min wait. They assured me they would sent the link. Guess what they haven't, so today at 8 am I rang again it is now 9.54 I am still on hold ad I write this. I am at my wits end and don't know what to do except pull my hair out with frustration. Its just not an acceptable wait time. They need more staff to man their phones,my brain is frazzled listening to darn piano music. I will NEVER, EVER in a million years recommend shelias wheels to anyone in fact I shall make it my life's mission to discourage anyone from using them. I wish I,had read the reviews. I don't care if its costs me more to go elsewhere my sanity, and time is way more important

Absolute shambles of a company. Had a crash nearly 5 weeks ago, initially promised courtesy car which I never got then a hire car. Then told I won't get a hire car because they sent payment , this was on the same day. 5 weeks of calling to wait for unusually high volume of calls so no average of 40 minutes to even get answered. Actually just hung up on tonight . I have witnesses that the customer no service people actually contradicted themselves on the same call . Cannot log into account, says password incorrect which it isn't , but I press forget password and the system says I have no account even though it literally just verified it. I could add loads to this but it's difficult without swearing. DO NOT USE !!!! Oh yeah how about telling me from photos the car will be scrapped then it will not then it will then it won't then it will. Mess

terrible customer service Trying to register a claim after car stolen, waiting 2hrs on the phone as you can't do it online. Phone is awful and now on hold waiting to process this claim. Meanwhile no car, no way to pick up kids. totally stranded.

Customer service is non-existent. My son had an accident last Thursday. We have emailed to report the accident but nobody has contacted us. The car disappeared on the day of the accident and he has no idea where it is. We have tried calling every day for a week and nobody answers the phone and we get cut off after an hour. All he needs is a phone call!!!!

"I had an accident which was my fault because I hit a wall, yeah I know stupid, but Sheilas wheels were impossible to get hold of, when I did they said we will sort things and then didn't, even with emails and phone calls they left the garage hanging to do the car for ages, I ended up paying for a hire car for six weeks, and the guy whose wall it was is still waiting to get sorted even now 6 months later . I would never recommend them to anyone"
