“Items arrived just fine, but communication could be better - I was made fully aware that due to being low/out of stock the item would take additional time to arrive, and the item did take over a month to arrive, and although it did show up in perfect condition, I felt 'out of the loop' the entire time. For starters, the email receipt I got said if an item isn't dispatched within 10 or so days, I'd be contacted by them to explain why and given an ETA. I wasn't contacted even after 12 days, prompting me to phone through instead for a status update. Was told they were having issues with supplier and that's why item was delayed, but expected very soon. Great. Two or so weeks later, still hasn't arrived. Well, the item HAS arrived now and it's great. I just think they should keep customers up to date when things are delayed beyond original expectations, simply to keep the customer feeling reassured and informed, and to give them additional options. The review was going to be a 3 star review but I gave them an additional star because my other orders were handled very well and a refund/exchange I asked for was also handled without any difficulty.”

“Happy to deal with this trader - I purchased a crash helmet from them, which can be a bit difficult if you don't actually go into the shop to try it on, but, on speaking to them on the phone, they suggested a means of ensuring I ended up with a proper fitting helmet by post. The delivery was prompt and the item itself was well priced compared to other outlets. It was a positive experience dealing with these people”

“Alpinestar Boots - Nice pair of boots, fairly reasonable price. Typical Alpinestar quality and thank you for keeping me updated on the delivery as (naturally) I am at work when you deliver. I am however a little confused as to why I paid extra for delivery when the Boots didn't arrive any sooner than I expected them to without paying (if that makes sense). Otherwise, all good. Cheers.”

“Easy to use - Easy to use. Only issue was a subsequent email telling me the good were on back order when the site reported them in stock before I ordered. The goods arrived two days later so either a quick restock or an email error. Pleased with the outcome.”

“Good but sometimes frustrating - The trousers arrived within 48 hours which was great. Emails generally keep you informed of the progress. The website is quite frustrating at times though, particularly the account section. It doesn’t quite tell you what you need to know about your order. It’s good if you want to reorder the same items again, but how often do you need to do that? I have ordered stuff and had to wait for it to be in stock in spite of what the website says. Communication was then poor, no email, not even to say it had been dispatched. The gear is good, the customer service is adequate but the systems don’t always work smoothly, so you can be left frustrated.”

“Leeds store - I went to the store rather than online because I wanted to try on the ladies Jill jacket by Held. I was helped by a lovely helpful young man called Mathew. I found my jacket size and was surprised that the one that fitted was xl and I’m only a size 14, I wanted a different colour to what they had in stock, so Mathew ordered online for me and it arrived at my home a few days after. I absolutely love the jacket, it’s a good fit, looks stylish and it’s protective without being heavy and bulky. Overall a great experience and product.”
