“Overall good - I found the website easy to use, the price as good as I could find and when the colour I wanted was found to be other of stock I was given another option without paying the extra. So good customer service. The helmet arrived in good time. My only concern was that both the box the helmet came it and the brown box that was placed in had no packing materials in them meaning the helmet had no protection from the bumpy ride in the delivery vehicle. Overall good experience though.”

“Order was a bit delayed. - For the first time I felt it necessary to chase the order I made for a helmet. The helmet is obviously popular (and the site now says at least 3 weeks for delivery). I chased it up and was given a quick and polite response. A couple of days later I was informed my helmet and the other parts of my order had been dispatched. This is the first time that I have had to chase an item and they reacted very well. Will certainly be using them again.”

“Service from getgeared was perfect but Held sizing proved a problem - I bought the Held 2341 Wave goretex gloves. Originally they were £120 but I got them for £70. I ride in all weather and have wanted goretex gloves for a while. I have Held goretex jacket and pants and I'm really happy with them (after 2 years of use) so I knew I wanted to go with Held again. The service from getgeared was seamless, no problems with the site, the order or delivery. However, Held's sizing is a bit off. The size chart appears to show that if you are usually a "S", for Held you should get a "M", which I did and they are slightly too big for me. Unfortunately I wasn't in a position to return them for the "S" as I had to start wearing them immediately as my old gloves had a huge hole in them, otherwise I would've returned for the smaller size. Other than that, the gloves are perfect, waterproof, good level of armour in them and surprisingly warm, which is something I've never experienced with gloves before. So just a word of warning that you'd probably be better off to go with your regular glove size.”

“Great Prices.....but.... - A great site to find some excellent bargains - but - the wait for postage is a bit of a chore as it appears Get Geared only post your items if, after waiting several days, you follow up your purchase with an email to customer services asking where your item is and when it is going to be posted - this has happened to me twice now, not good when you consider I've only purchased twice from them!!! The terms 'in stock' and 'ordered' both appear to be the same....”
