“Alpinestars Tech Air… - I purchased an Alpinestars Tech Air system from GG and received the very best customer service from the Surrey store. The staff were helpful, informative and super friendly. My son had fun checking out all of the gear also. Also they matched the price of the tech-air system so I knew I was getting the best price available. Really happy with my purchase.”

“A great website and team - A great website with a large range of motorcycle related items. Staff in store are very helpful too. They even price match online and normally you get a quick response. The only negative I have so far are the order updates. Sometimes I dont receive any notification as to where the item is or a tracking code and on one occassion the tracking did not update until it was delivered - unsure if this was a getgeared or royalmail issue. But getgeared are generally great, with a helpful team. I wish there were more shops and even more products.”

“Very reliable and helpful with orders - Very reliable and helpful with orders. Only gripe, sometimes the stock doesn't update online so even though the purchase online it might be out of stock but happens to most retailers, tough issue to avoid. Overall a trusted retailer for everything motorcycle.”

“Good but sometimes frustrating - The trousers arrived within 48 hours which was great. Emails generally keep you informed of the progress. The website is quite frustrating at times though, particularly the account section. It doesn’t quite tell you what you need to know about your order. It’s good if you want to reorder the same items again, but how often do you need to do that? I have ordered stuff and had to wait for it to be in stock in spite of what the website says. Communication was then poor, no email, not even to say it had been dispatched. The gear is good, the customer service is adequate but the systems don’t always work smoothly, so you can be left frustrated.”

“Amazing staff not so amazing website - The staff instore and on the phone were excellent and easy to talk. They helped me het the best gear for my budget and was very professional. However, i had fair few issues with the online ordering as in several cases I did not recieve conformation emails as well as dispatched emails.”

“Leeds store - I went to the store rather than online because I wanted to try on the ladies Jill jacket by Held. I was helped by a lovely helpful young man called Mathew. I found my jacket size and was surprised that the one that fitted was xl and I’m only a size 14, I wanted a different colour to what they had in stock, so Mathew ordered online for me and it arrived at my home a few days after. I absolutely love the jacket, it’s a good fit, looks stylish and it’s protective without being heavy and bulky. Overall a great experience and product.”

“GetGeared: Good but watch out for stock levels - GetGeared, in the main, are very good. The iPad app is excellent and the range of gear available broad. I’ve bought plenty from them in the last 18 months. I’ve found staff on the phone helpful. My one issue with them is a tendency to advertise items they don’t actually have in stock. The app will often say ‘In Stock’ for a particular size, but it then turns out they don’t have it. They debit your money straight away whether they have the thing or not. And this can leave you hanging for items never likely to appear.”
