“Good product very pleased with the bed. Delivery was ok, attitude of men a bit too sharp. We had paid for the bed to be assembled but it wasn't on their ticket so confirmed with head office it was and they were a bit begrudging even though it only took them 7 minutes to assemble. Fine when they left.”

“We ordered a king size Oxford bed, it arrived promptly and was easy to put together with my 7 year old. When I opened a box the aroma of real wood hit me and it was clear that the materials were solid and gave me confidence that it will last well.”

“We were initially pleased with the quality of the wood and the packaging, however, much to our disappointment, the pre-drilled holes were appalling - most of them were in the wrong place, so my husband had to fill them and re-drill the holes (pictures attached). Once this was sorted, the drawers looked good.”

“Having to pay between £25 and £75 for delivery depending on what day you want is acceptable if it turns up. Sadly 2 of the 4 boxes did not arrive. 5 days went by before the other 2 turned up. Someone has to be in for delivery = 2 days down in salary for time off. Customer service at Get Laid Beds is slightly disappointing as it was clear that they pass all responsibility over to the courier for any delays. Even after pointing out that my contract is with GLB and I have paid GLB the fee, they held their hands up to all responsibility and blamed the courier 11 times in 1 phone call. All the while - still no bed. I will say that they did try to contact the courier and did call me back, however, still had no resolution to the issue "it's the courier's fault" x 11! Worse even is the instructions for the bed. TOTALLY USELESS! 3 of the pieces in the nuts and bolts kit were not even mentioned in the instructions. Even though it's flatpack you really would need to know your DIY stuff well to work out where these bits went. We have had to back track and take things apart 3 times while putting this bed together, just in order to add in the steps missing from the instructions. Even then we got to the end and found something else that had not been included. We are yet to add this in as taking the bed apart again is really hard work. None of this is worth the money or time, when there are so many other companies out there to choose from. The quality of the product is ok - it's not the best by a long way, but it does the job. There are lots of options with other companies to buy a bed from - my suggestion would be to use another one. After several calls, they did agree to refund me the delivery fee - which was where the 1* came in.”

“Unfortunately I haven’t had the best experience. The bed I ordered was ordered with assembly thankfully, as the bed would not fit together some parts were to short othes just would not slot together. The team were unable to build it and it had to be taken back. Very disappointed”

“bed of good quality with minor dents on the inside part of the frame and support planks. The bed is easy to assemble. There was a minor confusion during delivery that was sorted out by the supplier rep via e-chart in a matter of 15 minutes. Martens of good quality and fits for the purpose”

“Not great value for money. Several hours of self-assembly involved, with minimal instructions, and one box of parts was missing. The wood had lots of dents and nicks. For what we paid, I expected a better product. Would not buy again.”

Good Afternoon, We are very sorry that one box was delayed in transit from the collections depot to the delivery depot during the delivery from FedEx. As an online courier we do rely on our couriers to deliver all boxes together, we are very sorry for the error that caused one box to be delivered on a different date. We can replace any of the parts you are not happy with if you wish. We would need a few photos emailed to customer service and they will be able to replace the parts that have marks on them. The Platform Storage (no headboard) bed is one of our most simplest beds to put together. Please do let us now if there is any feedback in regards to making it easier, eg the instructions to be simpler or different or any other feedback you can give.
