“Do NOT choose getyourquide company .you will loose all the money you pay and you will ruin all your holiday.i have already lost everything I booked thru them in April 2024”

“I have bought an excursion from these guys with a pick up option, they have never send me a time at which they were going to pick me up from the hotel, I was up extra early too try and guess what time they would be at the reception but to no avail, they rang me after the car had already left and told me that I wouldn’t be able to go on the trip, I tried to request a refund and they have told me that they have sent the email on their end but clearly they haven’t otherwise I would have seen it, absolutely apauling service throws my other two trips that I have booked with them in doubt will never be using them again really bad service.”

“They do not take any responsibility for their partners / agencies ( although of course they take the commission ). Once you have any issue they take distance and blame the agency that organizes the tour/activity. No need to book anything through their platform. Unreliable and unprofessional”

“I had a good experience earlier in my roadtrip. However, I made a booking mistake and picked the wrong date by one day. I was willing to pay a higher price but they refused to make the change because it was less than 24 hours before the event. I will not be in the city of the event until after it is over. I have just lost $100 because of an inflexible policy. Deleting the app and will never use them again.”

“GYG cancelled our ticket to the Bourghese museum in Rome on the day of the tour with the explanation that a political event interfered. So after traveling from the USA we experienced a wasted day in Rome. The company apparently overbooks and screws some customers at the last minute. Very scammy.”

“I had a very bad experience with GET YOUR GUIDE in Washington DC. I booked a bike tour to Mt Vernon from Alexandria. I should have been wary from the beginning as I asked a question and they took weeks to get back to me. So I should not have been surprised that they did not connect with me after I sent a message two days before my bike ride to ask about the weather and other options for returning from Mt. Vernon. There was flooding on the way to Mt. Vernon and I did not want to take my grandson on the bike road. But once again they did not return my email. I went to Alexandria in the pouring rain and spoke with the bike shop personnal. He could not help me as I booked through Get Your Guide. As I looked around the bike shop, I wondered why I booked through them in the first place as I could have just gone to the shop and picked out my own bike. I tried to connect with GYG again but never talked with a "real" person. The company has terrible customer service and I told them I would write a bad review if I did not hear from them to resolve my problem. I did not so I am writing this review. I lost $296 on this tour, plus the cost I paid to tour Mt. Vernon. This was supposed to be a highlight of my trip with my grandson, instead it make me angry. I do not recommend this company and will stay away from them in my future travels. I recommend you use any other company or you too might be writing a bad review in the fute.”

“This is the worst application, and the best thief ever!! We made a request for cancellation agreed by the service provider. But refused by getyourguide!!! So I will not do activity and the service provider will not get paid. Only getyourguide will keep the money Be ashamed of you!!!”

“Muy responsables y atentos. Se me hizo tarde para abordar la guagua y se comunicaron para darme otra. Estuvieron en todo momento pendientes de nosotros. El trato fue super y el guía Federico fue super chevere y explicó todo muy bien. De mi parte, si vuelvo a reservar con ellos. Melissa”

“First of all, they did refund all of my money. The problem was I booked a day-long tour of Rome. We were to be picked up and returned to the port of Civitavechia. The day before the scheduled tour, I was informed it had been canceled due to weather. We took the train from the port to Rome and walked around on our own. It was crowded but the weather was beautiful. I think they didn't want to come to the port to pick us up. Totally disappointed in their service.”

“Een ticket voor Aushwitz tour geboekt. 1 dag van te voren veranderd de tijd van 11.30 naar 15.00. We waren hierin erg teleurgesteld. Het is niet alsof je even een bioscoop bezoekt. Maandag weer naar huis rijden, dan wil je wel een beetje van alle indrukken bijgekomen zijn.”

“Unfortunately incompetence is rife these days, and GetYourGuide is definitely a place where it festers. Do your research, and carefully check what you request or pay for. We are talking borderline scam here, and you do not want to be dealing with this when on your holiday… entry gate, boarding a train, or worse etc. Zero stars was not an option.”

“They are not in synch with the tour provider and have wrong info. We paid over €300 for a boat tour and because getyourguide had wrong departure info we missed the boat. Skip them and go directly to tour operators”

“Horrific experience with Get Your Guide, GoGoDay travel and C trip, Japan. We booked a Get Your Guide day trip from Osaka on our recent trip to Japan. April 10 2023. Get Your Guide assigned us to their supplier GoGoDay travel who assigned us to a third party called C trip. The day started with wet seats in the bus on a cold day and our tour guide had no briefing for the tour of the day. When asked after almost an hour that what are we doing for the day, can you explain us more on the history of the places we are visiting today - the guide was unable to even pronounce those names correctly. We paid extra for a guided tour in English and turns out 'Peter' our guide was not well versed in either English or Japanese. He was struggling to communicate with us and had no idea about any information on the places we were going to visit. He constantly kept checking with the driver what, when, where types of information. After wasting half of our day, he took us to a train station in Arashiyama where the tickets were sold out for the day. He got another group with him, excluding us, who already had booked tickets in advance for the same. We were not told about it in the morning when we started otherwise we would have booked online or figured out an alternative. Then the driver, the useless guide and rest of their group leaves us at the train station to use our time at our own efforts. We were so done with them after wasting most of the time of our day that we just walked out and managed last few hours on our own. When complained on the whole episode to Get Your Guide, they refunded just a petty amount of the huge chunk of the money we paid for 3 people. It was a huge disappointment to rely on Get Your Guide on a foreign land, it wasted our 1 whole day, we had to manage without a guide, excursions and second half transport with a child. The least we expected from Get Your Guide was a full refund. I will never book any tours from them, neither will suggest anyone to use their services. They are hot reliable. GoGoDay and C trip Japan sucks with foreign travellers other than their own nationals.”

“This company is absolutely scam! There are just taking the money and never ever answering the phone when you are there for the tour! I paid £196 for 10 people! And they give you vouchers, but they are not a ticket to go in. Absolutely scam! Stealing people’s money. I will investigate. This is scandalous. To plan your holiday, go on the day and begin absolutely disappointed. To have an app!”

“I purchased the River walk boat ride ahead of time,when it came to the day to.use my pre-paid vouchers, I wad told by staff they were not any good & I needed to purchase new vouchers, and to contact GetYourGuide to receive a refund, which I did do,they replied saying no refunds, long story, At the end of the day I'm out $82. It's a big scam,Definitely would not purchase anything through GetYourGuide!!! Definitely Creeps!!!!!”
