“Bought my son the classic G-2 Chef's knife a few months back and just got him the Classic 7" Santoku Knife. He loves them. You can pay more for some other brand but you can't buy a better knife. The 2 Stage ceramic sharpener addition was nice.”

They provide little to no information on how to return their item. There is no invoice included with the purchase, the email noted on their website is non-functioning and was Undeliverable, their chat request is not really a chat and when I finally found a phone number where a human being would answer, they were very unaccommodating in making sure I had something to be able to return it after I printed out an invoice with no return, postage paid by them.
Bottom line, you better like the item as returning it was a part time job!”

“Ordered a knife for my daughter's boyfriend for Christmas just getting into the restaurant industry as a starting shelf The knife was delivered to the wrong address somehow But when I called customer service they straightened it all out sent me a knife I had it in 2 days the knife is great everybody's happy thanks to global cutlery for being fantastic and having great customer service”

Hi Tracy. Thanks for your comment. When the order was originally placed it was placed with the name Brittney as both the shipper and recipient. The order shipped 12/1, so at this time the information cannot be changed.
“-- I like Global knives a lot. Light and sharp. I bought a lot over the years.
-- Price: The price is good on the website and it's tax-free. The price is usually the lowest among all the authorized dealer sites that I compare.
-- Shipping: Shipping is way too slow. I live in the East Coast and it usually takes about a week for the product to arrive. It could easily take 10 days from the order date to the delivery date.
-- Product Availability: Some products are out of stock for a long time. For example, the whetstone that I am looking for has been out of stock for over 6 months. I signed for an in-stock notification and did receive two emails saying that the product was back in stock, but when I clicked the link a couple of hours later, it was out of stock again. I don't know whether the product is indeed back in stock or whether the email I received is a system error.
-- Product Description: The product description can be made better. Adding the weight and length of the product will be helpful. Right now I have to look at multiple sites to find out such information.
-- For user experience on the website, the site is quite slow and sometimes unresponsive. I don't have such an issue on other websites.”

“We purchased three knives last year and loved them. We took a cooking class and the chef use Global knives and showed us how to hold them. We like the balance and the sharp cuts they make.”
“This is the best knife out. 🔪 iIt cuts with ease because it is so sharp. It is easy to sharpen as well. This knife is an amazing value too given it can cut watermelon, any meat or filet a fish. Use this to look like a real chef”
“So far the knives are very nice. Takes a little getting used to the the shape of the handle but not an issue once you do. Very sharp but have not used long enough to judge how long the retain edge. Only issue with ordering directly from global vs a retailer is returns are expensive. Must be sure you are ordering correctly. Ordered some as a gift and had to return when I found out he did not want a knife block set. Although I ordered additional individual knives for him, the return cost of the set was $50. Otherwise customer service was responsive and pretty quick with refund. FedEx is not good with delivery in our rural area. FedEx kept changing delivery date and twice claimed poor weather prevented delivery. There was no inclement either day. UPS has been much more reliable.”
“I have never been happier with knives than these. The Bread Knife is my 5th Global. I sharpen all the straight edge with ceramic blocks. Have no idea the best way to sharpen the serrated Bread Knife. Ceramic rod?”
