“Horrific company. Took my money and told me order would be within 7 days. Ordered 4 items and 1 turned up. I had to source the other 3 elsewhere as I needed them in the time promised and when I asked for a refund I am still having to argue with them as they say it's not their fault. They are so quick to take your money and advertise high stock levels and delivery available, as soon as you've spent the money they reject any responsibility even if like me you're waiting over a month for a product you needed in the time advertised.
They'll feed you a load of rubbish about deliveries affected by COVID 19 which I appreciate, but the at least appreciate that the customer might want a refund on the service you have failed to provide

“I honestly expected so much more from groupon. I have been using this site for years with no issues. I have made returns in the past agian with no issue. However, i made a purchase on groupon goods almost a month ago and have not recieved the item dispite my credit card being charged for the purchase.
I reached out for assistance and was given a code to give the merchant that groupon used to locate my order. The code was incorrect. I have tried several times to try so resolve this issue. Today i contacted a customer service provider and they were completely condescending and getting " the correct code " to send to merchant to get this resolved was like pulling teeth. I was repeatedly told that they could not help me further before i pressed the issue and only then was i given a different code. Now it seems i cannot access the merchant to resolve this. Also groupon appears on my statement so maybe im ignorant on how this works, but it seems they are flat out refusing to assist me in getting a refund. I haven't even received so much as an apology. I guess groupon is not above scamming people out of their money as it seems they are just hoping i give up and move on.”

“Tried unsubscribing from all emails, yet the “unsubscribe from all emails” link was underneath the save button, so all I could do was unsubscribe from “occasions” emails. When this took me to another page, there was an option to unsubscribe from al emails, however, nothing happened when I tapped on the button, and I got no confirmation. Any business that does not allow a customer to unsubscribe from emails is off my list of businesses I deal with. Groupon has gone downhill.”

I ordered an item before the lockdown. They haven’t been able to deliver but took my money.
Now when I phoned up to cancel the order which only showed’ order placed’ I’m told my refund will be in groupon credit and it doesn’t state that in the fine print or return policy.
This is a new thing that they’re doing I expect my money back on my card.
The customer service was rude so I made a formal complaint.
I will not order from these people again and I would advise anyone to do the same.

“Hi. I bought several items from groupon, which have been fine. However, my recent purchase of a Daewoo microwave, kettle and toaster set for £104 (on offer) has not been a good experience. The microwave did not heat up my food from the first day i got it (Saturday 11th April 2020), in fact it blows out no hot air at all, only cold.
I got in touch with groupon customer services and was told to send a picture of the fault. Obviously I could not do this as it is not a physical fault but a fault that cannot be shown on a picture! I voiced this to customer services in my reply email and was stilla sked to send a picture. I sent a picture of the microwave, which will not show a fault for obvious reasons. I am awaiting another reply but feel that this is a ridiculous request and should be dealt with in a different way to standard complaints! If i do not receive a refund or replacemnt for the microwave i will NEVER shop at groupon again!!”

“Bought theater tickets for show canceled by corona virus. Groupon never contacted us in a month. Theater said they've refunded all and told them to refund customers. After multiple chats on Social media (you can't get a hold of anybody via phone or email) refused to issue refund despite not delivering the service. We're filing complaints and never”
“After Groupon cancelling on my tickets I purchased-I did not cancel, they did-i received no refund, only Groupon money. Due to Covid 19 virus, I will not be able to travel. Still, I did not cancel, they did! I expect a refund!”
“Back in Dec. 20, 2019 I purchased the deal with Sams Club membership for $45.00. I got the $10.00 e-credit in store. I kept checking for the $25.00 e-credit and the four items free at Sams. Groupon’s terms I had to wait till three weeks to receive them. I could never see the voucher. When I finally confronted Sam with this, they said I have to get notified by Groupon for the additional items. So finally around 1/6/2020 the the voucher finally showed up, (but know) it was past three weeks and I get a message that the deal had expired as of 12/31/2019. I contacted Groupon, they tell me they will look into it. Guess what, I have contacted them every month by e-mail and I get the same answer they are still working on it. Here it is April 2020 and still nothing. Bottom line is I got screwed big time. So I’m warning you don’t get caught up with their lies with the Sam’s deal.”
“Groupon sold Rosetta Stone lifetime all language access for 199. Rosetta Stone does not honor this purchase stating it is a program they no longer support and I would have to pay an extra 199 through them to access through Rosetta Stone. I notified Groupon they gave me the run around and pretended like I never made the purchase. Unable to get resolution and seeking legal advice now to get refunded the 199 that I paid for a defunct program. Groupon is a scam and is running a racket with this bs. I encourage anyone to file claims against Groupon for deals like this no matter how small. I will not utilize them from this point forward.”
